Seriously, I spent all this time posing my character and getting the look just right, then I am foolish enough to try this standing in a room feature and I see the character looking all po faced and horrendous.
Why are our personal settings not maintained. This isn't the way I wish to portray myself in game.
Also, why are my breasts sweating?

I'm not seeing the difference between that and your portrait. Did you expect her to hold that one bizarre expression that you posed her face into or something? It's just a facial expression.

You're not exactly pleasant on the eye to begin with. 
And as others have mentioned, the expression you create and capture in the profile photo is just that: an expression. It's not the normal state of your face.
