Before incarna i used to play with speakers (220 watt) at 10% and it was plenty loud. Now at 100% I can barely hear eve. I can hear all other sound sources perfectly well, but for some reason after this patch the game sound volume is almost non existent.

I had the same issue after this patch. I wish I could tell you *exactly* what to do to fix it, but I never quite figured it out. Here's what I did that seemed to have fixed it though:
1) Fiddled a bit with the various sliders in the audio options tab.
2) Unchecked and rechecked the Audio Enabled box.
3) Quit and restarted Eve.
I haven't logged back in yet to see if it'll start up with sound now or if I'll have to poke it each and every time though. I can't guarantee that this'll work for you, but know that you're not alone in this issue, even if you can't find any other damn posts about it.

I got no sound at all. I put all the sliders all the way and still nothing. Like OP, all other sources are fine.

I have the same problem with the sound from my headset on TQ. But the real strange thing is that the sound in Sisi is fine.

I thought my hearing had gone as the sounds are very quiet. I was also getting audio for items or craft that had long since switched off or long warped away. This was most evident with the pirate radio chatter after I'd destroyed both craft it was still playing in the background all the way back to the station.

This audio bug is really bugging me if you pardon the pun. All I can hear is the pirate radio chatter after thier corpses are just atoms floating in space. Very uncool.Biggest awaited update and the biggest let down by CCP.

Nothing wrong with the game. I had the same issue. Alt+Tab out, right click the little speaker in your toolbar and "open Volume Mixer" then scroll to the right and pull the slider until you reach your desired sound level. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the save. I've been without sound since Incarna came out and was about to damn near uninstall/re-install.
It's the "volume control" (Little speaker in your system tray) which opens up the mixer.
Right click, open volume control, crank up eve.
o/
