I am loving what you are doing with the game and I love that you are finally keeping your word and giving us WIS. It has been a long time coming and I for one cannot wait until we get the rest of it. I am so looking forward to the day when we can do more than just play Internet spaceships and our avatars are as important an aspect of game play as our ships are now.
Had a friend stop by today and I showed them what you had done to EVE with this latest update. Tomorrow they'll be playing EVE as well. They had never liked EVE before because they didn't like the fact that they couldn't have an actual character. Now we can and this was enough to bring them on board.
Just keep doing what you are doing. Add more CQ's and the rest of the station stuff and it'll make this game a richer game experience than ever before. Thanks for bringing us Incarna. I appreciate all the effort you have put into so far and so look forward to what the future of EVE's universe will bring us players!

Is that the same 'word' about Micro-transactions, it not being forced, revisiting all those old mechanics and features from the past?

I'm going to laugh my ass off after 3-4 years of people clamoring for "walking in station" this turns out to be just about it. You asked for it, you got it.

You need to open your eyes, there is not a "few" whiners, there is a huge number of so called whiners. CCP are screwing up and need to start listening

I agree. Don't listen to the few whiners who are complaining about how people are bringing the huge problems with this patch to CCP's attention.
It's a good thing that they do, and the whiners need to learn that without that feedback, the game will die. CCP is a big boy ù it can handle the bashing it rightfully deservesà and if it can't, it should close shop now before anyone gets hurt for real.

LOL.... Yeah CCP totally kept their promise.. Walking in a little boring room is so wonderfull... But don't worry... I'm sure they'll "iterate" and fullfill all expectations like they did with the last 15 half-arsed crap features that are fun for 5 minutes tops. I mean, look at how far FW came... and think of the new t3 ships we got.. And a great sov system that also got a lot of love since it was puked out by CCP.
Go buy a monocle.

it goes beyond the station environment. even in space the game runs much slower than before. i have no idea why, but it's pretty bad.

Can't wait to hear what your friend does when they quit playing with their doll, jump in a ship and get *totally* podded. You did mention to them that the SIMS have dolls too, right?

I know the sims comparison is flavor of the week and all, but Walking in a Little Room looks and feels a lot more like Second Life.

And as you say, CCP wont listen to all this crap going on at the forums right now, at least thats what i hope, if you all wanna see what happens to games where the developers
who actualy makes these masterpieces, listen to the narrow-minded players, look no further than WOW.

For this one report of a new subscriber, there has been at least 10 account desubs.
While I personally love the walking in stations and look forward to what is to come, I have a serious problem with the micro transaction model being present in any way, shape or form.
This is an honest question to the OP:
*Did you show them the Aurum and explain how it worked?
- They would need to make massive amounts of ISK to buy clothes.
or
- In addition to the subscription, they would need to shell out more money for clothes?
*Did you explain to them the player-driven market and how it worked?
- They would need to do something in EVE to get an EVE reward.

Thats great that your friend is going to be playing tomorrow, cause I won't. Hopefully your friend buys 2 monocles because I won't be in game to even laugh at the stupidity of the reported prices.

How old are?!? U can always play WoW and buy stupid girly items for real money, but don't support killing of EVE in a way we can all experience. Clothes in EVE? Sims 3 expansion?? They should better spend their time working on in-space environment. Improving what we already have.
CCP is so greedy.
