Quarters are too cramped for the camera, and the controls are bad. I'll not be using it. Please give me back my spinny ship view while fitting. :(

Just bring us back to the old view, and give us an option to disembark from our ship.
This makes everyone happy, and make more sense even from an RP perspective (You're not always going to leave your ship when you dock.)

I can no longer look at the shiny top of my Thanatos while shes docked... I'm sad
Instead I'm forced to stand by the sidelines and watch it spin really slowly at 15 FRAMES PER SECOND

I don't mind the CQ being there, as long as there's an option for it. Now if you disable it, all you see is static picture and nothing else. It would be nice to see what ship your in currently and to be able open the ship cargo hold with double click like before.

X here to..I like Incarna but they should...
A: Have a jog dial at the base of that hologram of your ship....so u can spin it around inter actively while undocked.
B: Have a "free camera" so you can spin your ship 3d/ 360 while in station BUT still out of pod.
C: Have the OPTION to disembark the ship upon docking OR stay in your ship and spin like the old days.

ship spinning, to me, was just a sign of bordom! When I was so bored that I couldnt even be botherd to chat.
usually after spinning for a few minutes I ended up logging off, or un-subscribing.
So no, I dont miss ship spinning, because once I started spinning.. it almost made me feel like I had to stop playing.

We should have a choice since the old hanger was already made, it shouldnt been difficult to do injstead of having to look at a background screen when the CQ is switched off.
I can see what CCP are trying to do, and think once it runs properly it will be great fun, but as it stands, loading time into the new environment is slowwwwwwwww which is no good when your up against the clock, for that reason i will switch it off.

CCP repeatedly said that Captain's Quarters would be optional. What they didn't tell us is that if we didn't use it, we'd get a vastly downgraded in-station view.
My laptop isn't powerful enough to handle Captain's Quarters at any usable speed, even with the detail turned down, and now instead of having easy right-click access to my cargohold, double-click access to open items, and the ability to spin my ship I get a boring, static background.
How much work would it have taken to keep this in, really? CCP managed to use this switch before to switch between static and moving backgrounds before. Fix this, please.

I at least want to be able to drag a ship into the main hanger area to activate it, but ship spinning would also be good. It's very soothing.

I really only want two things:
1: The ability to right-click my ship to open drones and cargo (obviously something similar with environs turned off)
2: A slider that lets me increase the auto-spin of my ship while I stand on the balcony. Whiiirrrrrrr....
But yeah, I really wouldn't mind having the old hangar instead of the static background. Why not have both? People will fade into the new model once there's enough content, anyway.

I shouldn't have to get out of my pod every time I dock. It needs to be something like an undock if you want to get out of your ship you can. I like the idea of the Captain's quarters even though currently I'm trapped in them.

Just so you can click on your ship in the bay without walking in station(station environment of) btw walking crap takes way to much power to run on 3 accounts or more.... or even 1 it takes more computer power then flying around....?

I completely agree, it makes no sense to remove a feature people liked. It is pure and simple forced incarna so they can sell you virtual ****. CCP made that clear, if you don't like it, there's the door.

x, i believe CCP can just make 3-4 topics and sticky them, but they are too chicken to do that.
- Ship spinning topic and the cargo bay functionality back - (the magic word - IMMEDIATELY)
- Why we have a single room that craps 1500$ PCs and adds nothing in the way of gameplay experience and provides zero interaction with players (hence meaningless)
- Where is the captains toilet since he cant go out of the ROOM (i am NOT taking a dump in my pod, no sir!)
- Why are the prices of the utterly meaningless (cept for trolls) ingame vanity items so rediculous (i can hear the line about the 1000$ jeans again and again, it never gets old CCCP)
Additional topic - do we want vampires in EVE online? CCP can just put the WOD world into a futuristic overdrive.. and stick it in the stations, saving cash.
Then again, might as well put up the topics myself later since CCP wont do it

Why ask ship spinning when you could ask for ability to spin avatar. what about ability to w ank.. but you can. second not with the avatar though but which is better anyway.

I have problems with the current station setting. It's hard to remember to do the new stuff after two years of the old. I can't count the times I've put something into the wrong hold, or left the station in the wrong ship, or a capsule. Fortunately, I don't know that I've screwed up until I get outside.
