Incarna has been deployed and some players have issues with graphics, CQ and the price of vanity items. What I haven't seen yet are extensive lists of bugs and issues around gameplay.
Either the Devs pulled a blinder and didn't actually break anything, or the QA team caught all the bugs early and got them fixed.
Congratz guys at getting Incarna out there without breaking anything too much.
Cheers n Beers

Ohh, and PCs overheating isnt a bug? Wait, is it a feature? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote: "For me EvE wasn't that much fun, many ppl refer to it as a nicely designed database front-end and that |

You, dear sir, are blind. Half of the EVE community has turned off CQ. People are stopping EVE over Incarna. Computers burn out, drones are bugged, scanning isn't working correctly. This is by far the worst patch from CCP, and it wouldn't surprise me if they'll get a lot of attention from lawyers due to their new stuff destroying players computers. Also the Aurum prices are through the wtfroof.

You know all those skills you trained? Well apparently dogma or whatever the crap is doesn't always know about them.
This patch is a complete disaster. ~~~

Let's seeà
Every last Mac issue reported on Sisi was left unfixed. The Dogma update that "shouldn't affect players or change gameplay in any way" broke ship bonuses so they're randomly no longer applied. The pirate implant deletion bug (which may or may not be part of the above problem).
àand the jury is still out on whether they fixed bombs and dictor spheres.
And those are just the ones that managed to stay above the flood wave of general incarna and MT hate.
So yeah, good work all aroundà ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

No. It means you can safely give away your PC from 1996 and buy one from this century.

in theory your PC should be build so that CPU and graphics card can run at 100% for unlimited time without overheating.
As long as you don't overclock, use modified drivers, ... no piece of software should ever be able to make your computer overheat.
de facto many PC makers skip on proper cooling because most customers don't use their computer that way (full system utilization for extended periods of time) and the few customers that do are not likely to buy cheap stock PCs.
add to this that most customers never even think about the necessity to clean their fans and air vents from dust - ever seen what 2-3 years of dust do to the cooling capacity of a computer?
imo CCP is technically not at fault (as overheating should be impossible with a proper hardware setup) - but practically their games triggers conditions (that may not be CCP's fault and shouldn't exist in an ideal world) which are not triggered by other games and which lead to a poor customer experience.

LMAO! Right...half the people have turned off CQ and people are leaving...Bull.s.h.i.t. You are so full of it. A couple of hundred whiners on the forums doesn't mean squat. EVE has hundreds of thousands of subscribers. So the next time you spout off a bunch of garbage, at least back it up with some serious proof! LOL!

Expect that a lot of the PCs that are melting are quite modern builds that should have no issue running CQ
Well done CCP

How fawking dumb are you? LOL! Not much grey matter between your ears idiot I take it. First off it is not on CCP to make sure your rig is properly tuned to keep it from overheating...that onus is on you! Idiot. If you cannot configure your gaming rig to stop from over heating - good luck trying to collect damages from CCP.

Doesn't make your flawed logic any less flawed. You're talking for people that might not even exist, well done, maybe you can start your own religion with that many imaginary friends in your pocket.

Don't know about the number of people affected, but my 1000$ laptop with an NVidia GC (not the highest end, but still) doesn't allow me to run CQ smoothly. I don't get why there isn't two different sets of settings, one for CQ and one for space. Like that I could deactivate every option in CQ and keep them in space ...
