I guess in a game where sometimes every second counts no eve-pro will leave CQ enabled. But without CQ enabled we now have a blank wall instead of our ship.
Can you please give us our currently active ship back to interact with? This forced lack of functionality sucks.

The thing is... you're wrong. The only situation I can imagine where secounds count in your turn around in station is if there is a fleet fight going on at a gate in your outpost system. You want to warp your pod back to station and get back into the fight in a new ship. Incarna does not change this one bit. The bottleneck is, and has always been, the session timer. You dock your pod - session change, you wait 30 seconds before you can board a new ship. You board ship - session change, you wait 30 sec before you can dock out. That is one minute. The fact that CQ loading time is about 5-10 seconds longer then the old hangar is not going to change that turn around speed.

Unless people have the graphics set too high for their system, then it takes longer to load, but then they should just turn down the graphics instead of complaining about the wait time \o/ -------------------------

You're right if u only want to dock/undock (although even that got slower on my laptop with CQ enabled, it's fine for my desktop), but everything else like changing setup, drones, etc. takes now some more clicks. EVE never was a great example of usability, but why make it even worse?

Edited by: Lothar Kreedz on 22/06/2011 11:53:31 Upgrading and streamlining content and UI. - Good!
Adding new features and content. - Awesome!
REPLACING features which have been in the game for years without giving the option to use the old style, the new style or a combination of the two. - Sorry but the only word that comes to mind is 'Stupidity'
On the other hand, I love everything else that Incarna has brought to New Eden.

Although you're right about the other stuff and it doesn't affect your argument, you can undock with an incomplete session change timer.

Yes but it takes longer to undock if you try to undock prematurely. -------------------------

I rather have the hanger back then having to look at a static picture if I chose to disable station environments.
