I find it disturbing that noone has been posting ANYTHING on these forums.
Its like finding a fly in your soup and the restuaraunt staff all run into the kitchen and watch you rage by peeking at you through a window.
Grow some balls and tell us whats being done to fix things pls.

Probably because they're sitting around a table somewhere trying to gauge their next step.
Might be, they don't assume the level of intelligence many forum warriors like myself do, and thus cannot grasp the complete solutions of so many problems out of thin air like we can. And since this magnificence that is us is so overpowering, reading said transcripts would blind them forever.
Or maybe they're all out to lunch. **** if I know.

Better yet, start filing bug reports (properly) and things will get fixed instead of just whining.

they have been ignoring feedback since the first ... well I was going to say beta testing, but that leaves me looking for what to call the current TQ build... test server builds.
of course now that everyone else has caught up with how bad this is they will probably provide some response...

Sitting in a circle, drinking strong liquor and complaining about how the players just don't understand.
Next they'll move onto doing the same things the WoW developers did when the player base turned on them. Decide not to communicate directly with players and just write blogs, generally about subjects the players don't care about.

I did that, 1û5 weeks ago while it was on Sisi. None of it got fixed until after the patch went live and people kicked up a right fuss on the forums.

If they get enough of them about a particular issue they'll push stuff up the queue for fixing more than likely.
They do their patching in a manner that sometimes will push fixes off to the next cycle though if they can't be completed and tested before the next cycle, so it could delay some stuff too.

They are busy fixing it, no times to moderate the forums but rest assured all our posts will be locked when they do , besides these forums will be dead soon and on with the new forums for the naive ignorant people to whinge about

Edited by: diaufop on 22/06/2011 13:01:25 Actually, Devs have been responding to gameplay-related issues - implants, drones, and scanning are all buggy due to the changes in the latest patch and devs have responded to posts about those.
They're just not daft enough to post in any of the complaint threads. Why add fuel to the fire?

Care to link? I've certainly not seen anything bar Guard making some bad jokes.
A lot of the 'complaint' threads are actually quite level-headed, and make good suggestions, with rage mixed in here and there. ---

Chances are at the moment most devs are in a state of sheer panic as they realise many players can not and will not play whilst there is a risk of their GPU's melting because of **** poor coding.
Many people systems far excel the minimum requirements but are seeing there GPU temps going critical.

Good to see they are working on the PROBLEMS in the game, the few that they are, as we have seen worse bugs eh.

CCP wont say much because what are they going to say.
Oh ya, you told us for a very long time not to do this and we did it anyway. Now a huge number of you are po'ed exactly as predicted. Wow never saw that coming.
Total number of whine's when the last expansion got delayed for polishing - near zero. CSM and the player base have been saying for a long time we prefer clean and functional to fail and buggy. Old habits die hard it seems cause we've got a new expansion that doesn't fix much and most people are turning OFF.
only thing that can be done is to add a few zero's to the aur exchange rate and at least people will lol at buying the very Very few items available for this epic trash heap.

The absence of a right-click menu. The inability to enter text into the password field on the login screen. The game ignoring its own settings (still not fixed). The game using the wrong settings directory (later described as not a bug, but as an undocumented change). The game nuking old preferences as part of the update.
àand that was just the Mac client ones that I remember because I've been helping people with them ever since the patch. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

I'm not so great with the linkage, but:
Originally by: CCP Tuxford I've got a repro. The modifiers aren't correctly applied if you board a ship from ship maintenance array (or a super cap). There is a workaround you just need to refit your drones. I assume logging off and back in in the ship (after you were removed from space) would solve this as well.
I'm working on a fix
Was in response to drone issues, and

No, this is not affecting scanning. However, the scanning formulas changed fundamentally so it's expected that you might notice some differences. Please mind that more than 4 probes can be used effectively now, folks seem to have missed that patch note~
Also, there was a bug that would cause Virtue implants (and other implants that boost implants) to not load properly. A fix for that is being deployed right now.
Originally by: CCP Tuxford looking into it. They are almost definitely not gone though just failed to load in "dogma"

I'm currently investigating an issue which might be causing exactly that
As far as probing goes.
There are a few more scattered around the forum.

This. Although i personally think there is much fail, CCP are also just people and many have worked like 2 days straight.
Also, it's quite understandable that if you work 2 days straight, and get so much hate there is not much incentive to write friendly replies.

That doesn't work, and I pretty sure I know why, those get routed to the dev staff who will try to fix them within the confines of the directives from senior management.
The problem is not the dev staff or anything they can really fix. The problem is with the senior management and the only way to get their attention and make them understand their mistakes is to rage in public.
