after devoting much time in major corps. and participating in many late night pvp combat through those years. you begin to want more out of the game or one just quits and moves on.
CCP had spoken of CQ way before many of you even heard of this game. I have finally re activated my account to experience this new expansion 'incarna'. feeling CCP have step up the bar on game play progression.
-sorry guys,it does not disappoint. for a mission player perspective CQ is the tool that the game needed!, from what ccp envisions for integration with dust 514-its even more successful!
it amazes me how much negative feedback there is for 'incarna' obviously by players with no vision for an evolving game like eveonline. -from players who will move on to next years mmo trend and play other mmo's while dipping into eve for 'casual' play.
i respect CCP for remaining true visionaries to their ever growing loyal players and moving forward 'slowly' getting things 'just right'.
this time around I will be focusing on alot more missions, yes... along with what this game is mainly about- pvping. there is room for both!
my hats off to them!-job well done! thank you!
-cheers!

Confirming a 10 sqft closet with the sole purpose of selling horse armour is a "step up the bar on game play progression".
tl;dr dev alt detected.

Really? You think CQ adds something... AT THIS VERY MOMENT?
REALLY?
Your trolling dude.. you trolling, I see the troll I bite the troll.
The *****ing is not about CQ, its about its effects on the players. I don't want to see an avatar, I don't want to see me walking.. But fair some people do, but when I can no longer have 2 accounts docked without flickering images, when this is for no reason OTHER than to make me pay for more stuff
I IS GOING TO *****!
CCP are in trouble dude, and if you can't see it, then you have issues.
What CCP promised is NOT what they delivering. Until I can interact, until I have a sandbox like EVE then walking in stations fails.
If you want to walk, try Second Life, there you can buy dresses for 100's of dollars too, but its dead as there was NOTHING TO DO.. just like CQ.

I wonder if this idiot read the leaked ccp inside materials and the confirmation of they authenticity by csm...
Why you run mission to rise faction standing when soon you will be able to buy them? |

I just resubbed, been off and on since the games release. I love the new changes, being able to walk around feels so immersion. I cant wait for the big change and I can walk around and chat with others on a station!
Screw those 'hardcore' players that only like things when they were first released, they are digital yuppies.

Read the complaints.. No one is complaining about walking in stations. We are complaining about how it effects the other side of the game.. you know.. the IMPORTANT part, the internet space part.
Being able to buy ammo with money from NO WHERE (the economy will just melt down). Being able to buy horse armor in space from NO WHERE. Not being able to have 2 accounts docked at the same time without meltdown.
Do I want to see walking in station, no not for me, do I want to stop you walking in stations? no you fire on! But can you really see much use from walking in stations at the moment? As you say, when you see others.. COOL! At the moment.. not cool.
so overall those of us that live in space, who dock and undock quickly, are being effected by something that ONE day will be useful.
THAT JUST DOES NOT MAKE SENSE TO ME,,, or many others!

Well yea, thats a good point, they should have made it an option, to go into walk mode when you dock or stay with the old version of docking. Say...you are in your ship and using the controls in it while docked to access hangers and items areas etc.
For those of us that want to walk around and socialize we simply have that option checked in our options menu. That way everyone is happy.
Not sure about the 2 login thing, dont know anything about that.

Nice post, however i still disagree with one thing and it's virtual clothing price :D I mean major goal of this game is space, not socializing.

Edited by: Demonbox on 23/06/2011 14:33:57 Edited by: Demonbox on 23/06/2011 14:33:38 would have been so easy:
[] Load walk in station (CQ atm) [] keep previous settings (aka my lovely ship spinning hangar)
oh well i'll keep staring at my motionless door while i'm docked..as long as they keep that option up at least...
EDIT: oh forgot to say i'm not some ultra-vet only joined EVE in early '08, still don't consider myself an eve "casual" player

I agree as a mature gamer for the last 30 years I think CQ is the first step for many great things to come. I'm a newb in EVE just started playing last week lol. All the crying I'm seeing is bleeping funny. I will never purchase anything in that new store lol. So they can charge what they want I won't buy it.
I got EVE cuz of Dust I heard of EVE thru a PS3 game forum called MAG(A Shooter that has the same concept of Dust)The innovation that is taking place between PC and the PS3 is bleeping awesome we have come so far in gaming.
Looking forward to see what the integration process of CQ will be. As of right I like CQ it has so much potential I can see where CCP is going with I hope everything works out.

Moving forward 'slowly', getting things 'just right'...
Is that all the bugs they fixed in the combat mechanics? Oh wait...
Or are you talking about moving forward 'slowly' as in it took them ~3 years to make a 3D model of a room and a couch?
