There's a thread with a thousand people and counting telling CCP that they've disabled Captains Quarters. But that's only half the story, I'd really like to see some X's here from people who use the ambulation feature and don't disable it.
So please - be honest here and lets get a count on how many people on the Eve forums are using it.

I find it kinda nice, if boring. Loading takes longer than before which is a pity, but it's ok on my old PC. There should be a more prominent display of the ship you're in though - I recently docked to swap ships, was too fast and got scolded from Scotty, so I waited some more. Then I undocked in my old ship since when you do you stand with your back to your ship display.
I also miss the "Drag ship onto hangar" option, I used that a lot.

X - Mine runs flawlessly, but I will acknowledge that it sucks for those having technical problems. I really enjoy the prospect of getting out of my ship and taking a break from the world, without alt tabbing out of the game. I see it as a stepping stone to a potentially bright future.

You can contract me that cookie in Serpentis Prime in Fountain then, I don't think you can dock in our stations and rather busy in Delve to come pick it up myself from empire.  |

I use it, and quite like it. Though I concede to having a bit of annoyance when I need to just offload cargo. Breaks immersion, as I wouldn't get out of my pod to do so.
However, whenever I'm doing missions, I dock, walk to the couch, sit down, and activate the Agent Finder to conduct my business and complete my missions.
I like it. Future for Incarna looks promising, if they handle the NEX nightmare with class anyway.

Using it too, only thing I really wanted from this expansion was the new turrets but got to say I was pleasently surprised by the CQ.
Wouldnt mind it putting a little less hilarious strain on the hardware though. Oh, also screw the ÇÇÇ store.

a) press escape
b) enable loading of stations environments
c) undock
d) wait out my session timer
e) dock
f) wait 30 seconds for it to load.

It reminds me a lot of an old game called neocron. At least, Mini quarters do.
Can't wait to see all the pron on the walls of Gallente.

But I want my Gallente quarters, and I want out that door.
Don't worry about the high Nex prices. I think CCP did it to make sure there was not a run on the PLEX. If they released a bunch of cheap stuff, the PLEX could well have hit 1 billion. I expect cheaper stuff to be added slowly, giving time for the market to adjust.

I'm running it on my main, and it runs ok (basicly 50% of fps compared with space)
But on my other two comps it's disabled, it simply runs too badly.
Here's the real problem, if your having any issues with it now, wait until actual walking in stations and interacting with other characters gets here.
I'm betting the main reason they haven't deployed full walking in stations yet is simply 90% of their clientele won't be able to run it worth a crap.
I can't say whether it's bad coding, or they simply went to far on the graphical details. Either way, if a current comp with a decent grfx card can only run it at 30, 20 in front of the mirror, they have a problem.

XXXX - I use it & love it - you all did a great job on this HOWEVER I don't think a cool new shirt should cost as much as a faction battleship, I mean if the idea here is to inject as much realism and immersion into this game as it looks, the WAY skewed pricing on vanity items is not practical. I think maybe make them not so cost prohibitive and maybe make them consumable like a rig for your ship, once you put it on, taking it off destroys it.
I think they look fantastic, but will not be buying any due to the pricing.

They also need to bring back the old view and give us an open to disembark from our ship and then it loads up CQ.
Needs a few tweaks and changes but I'm sure they'll come soon enough.

yeah because the rage is totally about cq.
i use cq, and i think it's a decent start. the rage is about something else. too bad there aren't any learning skills left in eve because you could sure use them.

it makes eve a little bit more realistic for me sitting

Everyone who responds to this, make sure you know having it ON, and using it are not the same thing, using it would set in the idea that you are spending large amounts of time in it, and it having an effective use. While just having it on, would be having it on, instead of staring at a door.
If your in space, you're not using it.

And I'm really talking about using. I go in, sit down, and use the screens to do stuff like PI, managing my corp etc. EVE is so much more than flying spaceships for me (I'm a bit of a roleplayer tho). I think CCP did great with incarna, but not so great with the noble store/microtransaction things. But I also think they should first get rid of the remaining bugs and then tackle those problems.

im spending large amounts of time in it...the effective use for me is that it looks good and makes the game feel real.....
....besides most things in life dont have an "effective use" and we like them anyway :)

Yes the immersion and roleplay factor of incarna is invaluable.
I look forward to staring my enemy in the face and vowing to kill them.

Didnt run perfectly with 4 clients on 4 year old Rig, but gave it some love (Doubled the RAM; updated Graphiccard and it runs 4 of them without much problems, at relatively high settings; No AA.
