I finally saved up enough to go. But I can only imagine that it will be...
* Players mad as hell (and rightly so)
* CCP doing the spin dance
* CCP telling us "things"
* CCP showing us more vanity things we will buy
But most of all, the hurt and betrayal to see CCP Soundwave in person. To look him in the eye and know that he is ABLE to keep a pure poker face about how he really thinks about us, the scum "consumers we really are". That hurts.
I was wanting to be all Amarr COS player and dress up. I even had a seamstress start working on a jacket (to help the "real world" economy). So now with "Greed is Good" I realize that the poor Icelanders see us Euros and Americans come all dressed up to their Island in our riches, and we must simply seem like ******ed cash cows. So to me it seems like any Eve Vanity item that could be represented in real life is sour.
To dress up in COS play is a celebration of being silly. But this is a serious insult to be lied to. I'm not going.
The Amarr Gods are not happy. Get my slaver hounds.

Forget Fanfest 2012. How about EveVegas, coming in 5 or so weeks?! I'll either be congratulating Soundwave on his epic troll, or reminding him why I and others have unsubbed.

Oh my... I forgot about Vegas, and as I'm in Los Angeles I was thinking about going. F-that. It will be horrible like I posted above, especially with Soundwave.
Vegas will not notice the loss (kind of like hulkageddon on eve economy) but I do feel sorry for the innocents of Iceland when the 2012 income does not come. A string of dominos fallith before thee.

Yeah, I just bought my tickets Monday night, before Incarna dt. Here's hoping that a satisfactory explanation comes of all this, so my trip won't be for naught. See you in Vegas CCP!

I find this ironic about the "future of eve" video and where we are right now...

Would be epic to see both of them on stage, at least after the 10 minutes of applause for John, and 3 minutes of boo/hiss for Soundwave. Then at least CCP would be able to have "the intent" of Greed is Good "live version".

I honestly can't wait for Fanfest 2012, I plan to grill these bastards like they've never had it before. I'm at least giving them the benefit of the doubt until then, and giving them the chance to fix this massive screw up.
