Why has the tunnel effect when you go to warp gone, coz now it just looks like your sitting still in space until you reach your target. Is this a bug or is it deliberatly switched off?
Has this something to do with having an ATI card since you nerfed the game for them?
an answer to this would be appreciated.

Yes, it only shows the tunnel effect some of the time for me. I hope they fix it soon. I'm using Nvidia so I don't think it is card related.

Nvidia here as well and i'm getting this problem. Seems like a random chance for the warp effect to happen now.

I noticed I only get warp tunnel if I have effects (like booster graphics etc.) turned on. Didn't use to do that before.

They broke it just like everything else, just like the close, minimize, and pin button disappear from windows now and you have to mouse out and back in to get them. Just like every patch for the past 3 months they break more stuff than they fix.

I still have the warp tunnel effect. Have you people updated your drivers at all?

7 Days ago i did a fresh reinstall of windows and installed all the newest drivers then. The warp effects were still there. It was right after the new patch when they switched off.

Nope.. I think its because CCP like to experiment with different effects and get our feedback for free.
Actually I had this happening last month before the incarna patch...for me it was after the incursion patch...some sustems it works others it doesnt.
Will it be fixed soon? Who knows!

I got hd 5770, I got the warp tunnel always on first char that wars, on the 2nd unfortunetally (if they warp together), there is no warp effect...

This was not a complaint, i would like to know if this is a bug or a deliberate move. With the looks of the comments it almost certainly seems like a bug, so ive made a petition. They probably already know about it but best not to assume.

I got a nvidia GTX460 and I also lost my tunnel effect.
Thought it was a new feature from EVE.

ESC > Reset Settings > Clear All Cache Files
Problem solved.

Map does not work half the time when you uncheck Load Station Environment. Of the map, only the menu is loading, but cant see systems. I see the damned wall and door.

Unfortunately it's not that easy this time - already tried that, but it also doesn't happen for all warps. Sometimes the tunnel is there, sometimes it's missing.
It's just a minor bug - wouldn't bother about it for now.

Don't worry, you'll be able to buy the warp tunnel back for aurum in the next patch.
