For the greater good of Eve, please IGNORE EVERYONE inside this forum.
YOU AND ONLY YOU have all the facts, all the details, if micro-transactions are what you believe is needed to keep Eve a vibrant and alive MMO, then do it. If pimping Incarna (which I'm loving and can't wait for more of) for the next 6 months to a year and ignoring space is what you need to do, then do it.
The tears will dry up in time and many will realise they're crying over nothing.
So HTFU, close this window and get back to work making Eve the way YOU want it to be made, it's why YOU are the game developers and WE are the players.

What do you think this crusade you're all on will achieve exactly? This will end one of two ways.
Either...
CCP will give in, they'll become reluctant to do anything to Eve any more, lest this happens again, developers will start getting moved to other projects, Eve will stagnate then die.
or...
They'll ignore you, do their jobs and Eve will continue along, minus a bunch of self entitled whiners.

meh, with people leaving- thats less spam in jita, and less whiny replies in the forums, with over 300,000+ players, i doubt a few leaving will change much

lol i have been wondering the same thing. I am half convinced that half of the people whining are 3 guys with 15 accounts. My area of low sec hasn't changed, and tbh I wouldn't mind if there were less people.
This reminds me of all those threads talking about "the good old days" when eve was less populated, well, they might get what they wanted, but i seriously doubt this will have a SIGNIFICANT effect on the actual population in eve

Whilst the oxygen levels in the OP's brain may not be up to spec, I do have to say that there are waaaaay too many whiny *****es on these forums. I played around a bit, then looked at forums - I thought I was playing a different game or something judging by the wailing and gnashing of teeth here.
