My main will not be renewed in 11 days time when GTC's run out
and the other 2 will not be renewed in july when there GTC runs out
it a f$%king shame really i met so many good friends in this game it will be so hard saying goodbye

CCP just lost 1080 subscribers : 1080 * 15 dollars a month: 16200,- dollars
They have sold
54 * 80 = 4320,- dollars worth in monocles in 40 hours time
4320 / 40 * 24 = 2592,- dollars/day
2592 * 30 = 77.760,- dollars/month on monocles.
CCP made more money from 80 dollar monocles per month, than from all the subscription losses combined.
Even if the trend were to continue and more players would leave the game at this rate: that would be 16200 less subscribers in 1 month time:
16200 * 15,- a month = 243.000,- dollars per month less subscription income.
Considering there are more items on the NeX store... i doubt we'd make the impact we need, at least initially, and that's presuming no new subscribers will enter the game...
Yeah I'm not taking a lot of things into account with this, :P but its presuming everything stays constant.
And do you really assume that every will get monocycle? Its always a peak at start when an item appears and then goes down to a level where it constant, which could be 1-5 / day or 10 / month? Who knows about exact numbers, but i wouldnt say that they will maintain the selling this high over longer time.

Well, i just recieved an e-mail from ccp, reminding me, that my account (my only one) expires in 5 days, and that i should renew my subscription. usually my first thought is (was): ah, thx - going online right now, using a plex from the stockpile, done. but atm i feel more like: whatever...maybe if you (ccp) spend me a 1000$ worth of pixel-recoloration (aka. "designer-pixels"-pants) i might be interested in one more month of skill-training...nah, not even then!
so i guess im off to a longer vacation, keepin' an eye (without monocle, btw.) on the news and forums sections, maybe something happens that convinces me to come back and have fun.

btw.: bought a guitar few month ago, having lots of fun playing the **** out of it. just a tip for the people who are leaving, too, and do not know how to waste time without EVE.
