For every 100 people that want Helicity unbanned there are a thousand carebears screaming **** YOU HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
Don't get me wrong, I loved Helicitys pew fest that was hulkageddon and Liangs advice in the forums was fantastic when I lurked as a n00b.
They both knew the risks, they both aren't children and they both aren't stupid.

Well if they are banning people who blow up hulks (or at least attempt it in my case >.<) then there's a bunch of us about to hit the damn chopping block. Hope CCP unbans you Helicity, you were one of the many who inspired me to take on my life of pixellated crime.

This is really sad news. Whatever anyone may think of Helicity, he embodied the idea of EVE Online being a cold and harsh place. He singlehandedly forged the Hulkageddon events that brought everyone together. He truly was a pirate in every sense of the word, and was certainly one of the most feared.
I hope he gets his account back, somehow....

tbh, forum bans aren't nearly as effective as CCP think they are.
When you have multiple acounts you can do an awful lot of shiptoasting before they truly silence you. 4 of 7 down btw.

Hulkageddon was such a low quality event.. Not once did they gank or destroy more then 1% of the hulk population. They had barely any effect. People participating just were not willing to travel and when helicity used her alt to claim the reward money and ships that is when I lost my faith.

Maybe as a tribute to Helicity and Liang you could all make a corp/alliance bearing their names? And use that alliance/corp to continue Hulkageddoning. Originally I was totally against Hulkageddon but suddenly noticed that mineral and ice prices rose a bit (unfortunately so did the price of the ships needed to mine it), so now I can kinda see what as intended...
And yes I am a mainly industrial character (but I do have a few teeth with which I can bite).

Like I said Helicity was just another sociopath... At first I liked the idea of hulkageddon but then when helicity gave the reward isk to her alt I felt betrayed and confused.

Never heard of the chap, but yea, if the guy broke the rules, and some of us from time to time certainly bend near the rules,hehe, then a banning is what happens. I will assume this is to do with the Monocle uprising,hehe. Did not get involved, has no effect on my game playing.
Hope your friend is given his account back though :)

I liked helicity events and tears as much as the next guy and while it is very sad said person got banned.But to all those who worry some other meme generating person will take over and we will have an all new ginger magician to fawn over and such.
And if any one was really worried about continueiong the hulkgeddon stuff pick it up and do it if not the STFU.
