Edited by: Che Jin on 24/06/2011 13:27:58 Greed is Good? Really?
I would like to point something out to everyone at CCP who is not a manager. Do you guys remember the US real estate disaster? You know, that thing that economists call "the Real Estate Bubble"? Allow me to summarize:
Some smart accountants and corporate manager types figured out a way to make a whole bunch of money real fast by changing the way property mortgages were sold and bought and by ignoring the safeguards and signs that protected the fiscal balances of proprty ownership and sales.
What happened? Those managers and accountants made billions of dollars. They also destroyed most of their market. In the end the lower echelon employees lost their jobs because the companies they worked for (and not the managers and accountants) ended up being dissolved when things went down the tubes.
If I was a junior employee or someone who is not a member of management at CCP I would be following these threads very closely and I would be very worried that someone at the top of your corporation is making a decision that may cost you your job. I cancel my subscription and I am up $15.00 for the month. Enough people cancel their subscriptions and CCP is down a couple thousand a minute. Who is CCP going to lay off if the cash flow stops?

Why did you create a new thread to say this rather than simply post in the existing thread?

Why did you feel the need to comment on that?
To the OP, yea I'd honestly start looking for another job if I antagonized my consumers this way (Hell it's even worse than GW and their big fiasco with pricing recently)

Edited by: Che Jin on 24/06/2011 13:34:35 Because I can.
Also because there is a sizeable portion of this community that wants everyone at CCP to know that we think MT, $99.00 3rd party fees, etc are a bad idea.
It's ok to make a bigger sign at the protest once in a while.
