This last week a man called Brian Haw died after a decade long protest in Parliament Square London.
I'm not happy about the proposed changes to EVE Online, many of you have protested vocally or by cancelling your sub. I'm going to park my battleship outside Jita 4-4 and will stay there until the three main requests of the community are met by CCP. Not just promised but actually accomplished. I will only go offline for DT or any extenuating circumstances where I will ask someone else to take my place.
If you don't believe me come to the statue outside Jita 4-4 from 15:00 GMT, I welcome anyone else who has nothing better to do to join me today and hold a vigil for our game. If you think I'm mad by all means try to kill me. :)
Will setup a ustream to show you how it's going.

Damn it man, just damn it. Was'nt aware of that had a convo with him maybe 8 years ago, he didnt like me cause of my video camera, but i still had immense respect for him. RIP Brian Haw, one of the few.

And this is prob the best ideas ive seen so far. Passive resistnace, Ghandi'esk, Gz on the idea.

The only way this idea will matter is if enough people are in Jita 23/7 to crash the node in protest.
And when CCP threatens to ban you for creating lag and crashing the server people STILL come and STILL stay...
That will make it on EVE news, and then CCP will write Dev blogs about it.
If that don't happen you're flying a silent fools vigil and will only manage to get suicide ganked repeatedly.  The thing about tree huggers is as soon as the pepper spray starts to fly there is nothing but tears and broken lines.  Everyone thinks they can be "Martin Luther King" or a "Gandhi" but have no real idea what it takes to do so. be it in RL or in a video game such as this.

I do not wish to encourage people to come give the server any trouble I stand alone and on watch until CCP meets the requests of the community.

This sort of thing happened once already in gaming history believe it or not.
In Pre-Cu SWG to protest against the infamous patches that soon followed people gathered all in one spot on the servers and crashed them, I suppose you could all do this if things are that bad :p

Good idea actually, but why not organize it on a big bigger scale? built a MASSIVE fleet and roam through the unsupported nodes
Imagine.. 10.000s pilots doing one massive conga line all through new eden.
