I understand that Eve is the haven for the gaming world's sociopaths and lunatics, that's why I like it, but right now the lunatics have have taken over the nurses station and broken into the medications.
It's time to put them back into their cages until electroshock and lobotomy calms them.

Yes, because mass banning is always a good idea and will serve to calm the remaining players and promote an atmosphere of rational discussion and friendship
More bans at this point would be like pouring gasoline on a bonfire.

It's the same crew who FREEEEEEAKED when CCP announced they were eliminating the learning skills. They were all "cancelling" and rioting then as well. And just as was the case back then, I am seeing none of this sentiment in game. I know one guy who is concerned, everyone else could not care less or thinks it's cool.
But here, here in the nuthouse, it's all shrieking and wailing and dire threats scrawled in crayon on the padded cell walls. The world, the universe, is ending. CCP is being sold! CCP hates us! CCP touches little boys! CCP is EEEEEEEEEEVILLLLL!!!!!

I'm sure mass banning paying customers is the best way to ensure financial success. I'm also certain that it won't in any way be picked up by the gaming media and turned into a mountain of bad press and the loss of potential customers.
The problem with people like you is that you have no concept of ripple effects. You also have no concept of the real underpinnings of EVE. It's a sandbox that leans on sov alliances as its primary game driver. The instant that the players who form the working backbones of those alliances lose interest and walk away is the beginning of the end. CCP is the one who designed the game this way. They may regret it; they may want to change it. But its far too late.

On most games forums all threads containing critisism of the game are locked. 'Troublemakers' (people who tell the truth) are banned. The companies marketing department pays people to spew postive messages about the idiotic 'design' decisions the marketing department made.
CCP used to be different. They were a sanctary from MT, nickle and diming and general cruddyness of modern games. Even though Eve is a bit boring and has a rubbish combat system people moved here to get away from the pay to win, shallow, over-marketed rubbishness of other games.
But now, Eve is just another rubbish marketing department driven game amongst many. Only Eve has an uninspiring combat system and is completely boring in the PVE dept. The economy of eve is driven by bots and mictotransactions and is a complete farce.
So go ahead, CCP, ban more people for telling the truth and employ more viral marketers to try to trick people into playing your sub-par game. Because that is what you now have to resort to, trying to trick people.

Not sure CCP banning helps. I think all publicity I good publicity.
Especially when all they need do is post about the morals of leaking internal discussions from a privately owned company, then release a manifesto which details work where none of the core issues people are upset but, infact reinforcing what the customers want.
Hopefully CCP accountant is able to nipple noogey this onto the forums / website sooner rather than later.
Ball has been in your court quite a while now (erm I'll feel a bit daft if this already exists, but daft and relieved)
