I don't understand why a lot of people are complaining about Incarna? It seems to be based on the new Aurum system but all the shop has is Clothes. I have heard rumors about skill points and ships is there a link to an article or something on that?
I'm not discrediting or arguing against any protestors, But I am just curious to why people are upset. I haven't had any problems with overheating either.

It's not just about Incarna, it's mainly about this:

Protests are not really about incarna (although it is disappointing) 1. 12 months ago CCP raised the idea of MT for game changing features; standings etc... 2. Players loudly and clearly said. NO eve is about investment in time not in money to do something now. 3. CCP said yeah ok we wont do that. 4. incarna is released with bugger all items at prices much much higher than indicated by ccp prior to release. 5. A day later an internal newsletter that discusses the option of MT for game changing features is leaked. 6. Players react to being lied to by ccp. 7. CCP release blog saying "meh get over it your being silly" 8. Players actively try to hurt the game.

Head over to EVE News 24 and read their article about the leaked issues of "Fearless", in which CCP staff talk about the direction of the company in terms of microtransaction sales. That newsletter is the real thing, CCP Pann told us that much.
They want to sell ammo, ships, skill points, NPC corp standings, etc, through NeX.
While the Fearless newsletter presents most of this with tongue-firmly-in-cheek, the baseline is depicted as the status quo - MT through $->PLEX->ISK, with a player-provided store. Thus wherever the outcome lands between "just clothes" and "everything's available for $", it will be more than just clothes available on the NeX.
What has players particularly riled at the moment is the Devblog which refuses to address the issue of whether CCP intends to stick to "vanity items only" or does in fact intend to sell ships, weapons and ammo through NeX, effectively conjuring "power items" out of thin air and charging players for services which should have been provided as part of a game that we're paying for.

I see...Thank you for telling me...this is an issue as I can barely pay the 15 dollars per month. Thank you for being calm, as it seems most of the community is in a gigantic uproar.

While the leaked "Fearless" newsletter was really about bouncing ideas around, one idea put forward was the possibility of selling game-changing items via MT. Ships, ammo and so forth. The heart of the matter is actually whether this will come to pass or not, and people wanted a simple yes/no answer. This simple answer was somehow not forthcoming, despite this question having being asked over and over again in the megathreads. If the (rather vague) blog had just said "No, we will NEVER sell game-changing items via MT" the whole furore would have quieted down virtually instantly.
Vanity items? Who cares, they don't DO anything and we can always poke fun at the buyers. Aurum, per se? I couldn't care less. Incarna? No biggie, just make it optional. (I'll definitely be using it when it's the whole station, I just don't want to use it every time I dock.) Graphic problems? It'll get fixed. Pay To Win? No bloody way.

If you read CCP Pann's post... she says "As I see it, the chief complaint is regarding the high cost of goods in the Noble Market. Second, many people are unhappy about the CaptainĘs Quarters. Third, there are some performance issues with Incarna."
This is all inaccurate, these are in fact negative things but these are all things the players knew about months before it went live and were able to check out on sisi long before release.
The thing that sparked the rage was an internal document that got leaked. Then CCP basically said nothing and tried to let it blow over. Then finally a mod vaguely confirmed it was a real document. They still didnt bother to comment.
Then Pann came along and never even considered the real problem to be a problem. Then Zulu dev blog came along and basically confirmed they arent changing anything they are thinking might be the problem. So it seems this is just going to keep on going.
At this rate they are going to be firing lots of staff to account for the far fewer subs then they have or they make the affirmative statement that they arent going to be doing none of the bull**** game affecting microtransactions. They also probably need to release all the internal newsletters to show there's a long history of troll ideas. ------------------------ To make a megathron from scratch, you must first invent the eve universe.
