If they can be destroyed, they will be. Moron pays 1000 dollars for this pimped out Aurum ship with mods. Just get a bunch of tempests with artillery, sebos, damage mods, faction ammo. Lock on undock, BAM FIRE!
Fellow loses his ship and the gankers gain lots of isk.
I can see it now a new system to gain profit. Ganking, Scamming, you name it!
You caught a pod. "Oh I see you have a monocle, 500 million or you lose your pod."
I can see the beauty in the potential tears and whining with this.

Who goes solo pvping anymore? Its pretty much dead, For the price of the Aurum ship you can get a **** load of guys in cheaper ship and blob the hell out of him.

More to do with the fact they would be removing stuff from the game. With plex a player will get paid for the effort they put in with a mt the plex/aur gets used up and removed instead of being used in game. If you get me.

I'm not holding my breath. CCP is too incompetent and overwhelmed with other tasks to completely break and redo their entire game mechanic so that a 3 day old has any chance vs. a competent, experienced player.

Imma laugh when your 15-man t2 gang gets destroyed by a Eurostriker or a Dollardestroyer firing dollar bills from bling turrets.
Imma laugh harder when that character has 100 mill SP and is 2 days old.

Please undersanf the 'invisible air' concept for AURUM ships is simple.
If someone can buy a tech3 ship with rl money then there will be no need to craft a tech3 ship in eve,
this removes wormhole working along with industry to craft that ship thus it leaves tech3 ship crafters nothing to craft.
this is just an example on tech3 ships, now think of this happening on every item in eve, you see what im getting at?

who's to say a T3 BS with 99% resists and T3 ammo, all paid for in real money, wouldn't rip you and your 5 buddies apart solo?
that new scram that hits everyone in the area will probably help alot too, it was only $99.99!
if you think "oh they'd never do THAT" you're crazy. these jokers are about to soak you all hard core and alot of you will be fine with it
