You are truly amazing for fighting for this.
Give a shout out to your fellow EVE players, who got us here, who blew your asses up, etc.
CCP is clearly confused.
But we aren't.
Solidarity - whether you are coming or going, unsubb-ing or re-subbing. This thread will send the message, these are our actions.
CEO OF CCP.
THE players actions are clear.
Thousands of Players have been SHOOTING A STUPID STATUE FOR MORE THAN 8 HOURS IN JITA RATHER THAN PLAY YOUR GAME
But 52 Monocle purchases speak louder?
Jita for the last 8 Hours
Amarr for the last 6 hours.

How much AUR to spin ships in station?
or to return the following functions:
òThe ability to activate ships through drag-and-drop. òThe ability to always identify the active ship at a glance. òThe ability to always instantly access ship cargo holds through double-click. òThe ability to always instantly access ship drone bays and specialty-holds (ore, corp hangars, fuel bays) through right-click menus. òàand, of course, everyone's favourite: ship spinning.

There is no game on interwebs such as EVE, filled with the most bastardized players on the internet.
I don't think people would just leave without a fight, between an indestructible object yet blockade trade hubs and lock up nodes for a whole day. Can we do this for a week please?

No, they don't want action. From that leaked mail the CEO of CCP essentially says "lets see who REALLY quits the game after the ****storm is over, I doubt the majority of whiners actually will".
He's challenging us to back our rage with actions by quitting and he's fairly sure that we won't and his new vision of EVE will come out on top.

Whether they watch what we do or what we say, they'll see that microtransactions are hugely disliked by a LARGE portion of the community. The Jita Riots are going to continue for the forseeable future, as many of the players there have a great deal of ISK and time on their hands.
Nothing hurts CCP more than the truth, though, so I'm going to repost this here: http://pastebin.com/r6HMviUY

i give up. i had a shot at eve-fame fighting you-know-who's sandbox hulkageddon event that was scaring noobs away.
but this?
it's scaring all the Old Guarde who made this game what it is away and I can't stop it.
-2 hulks and -2 fan fest attendees (spouse too) right now. -2 more in time.
we make our identity in eve through our actions -- hence a sandbox -- we don't buy our identity via clothing.

If by Thousands you mean about 600 (look up the theads here yourself, they were boasting about that number). At that time (@ 4.00PM Eastern US time) there were about 47,000 accounts online.
Even now, go to any system and ask about how the protest went in local chat (did that a couple hours ago in New Caldari) and you will get :
"Protest, what the **** are they protesting?"
"are the morons?"
"someone gank a few so I can jump into Jita, I need to buy something"
Your protest went over like a Westboro sit in to most of the players on Eve......move along
PS : most people when told in local about the protest say "wow, these people miss ship spinning that much?"

It's been 8 hours, many people have cycled through. Average gamers online time is 2 hours. So 4 cycles of 600 = 2500, and in multiple systems makes it easy to say "thousands of players".

Yeah its amazing how people tend to flock towards something greater then themselves, especialy if they dont realy understand whats going on. They want to be told what is true and what is going to happen (we got thousands of prophets in the forum and ingame lately). Then they cling to that believe even if facts and logic stare them right in the face. So go ahead, keep yelling in jita local and waste your ammo shooting at that statue, it will be a monument to your stupidity and attention/aceptence seeking way of life.

Oh and my system can handle multiple clients well and I think the CQ thing would be nice as an option. But the response from CCP on this is pretty sickening.

Whether we like each other or not, play on the same side or as adversaries, in the end it's Us vs Them.
It's unfortunate to say but we genuinely want the game to get better and it's CCP who seem to be intent to change it into some other ugly version of what it was meant to be.

4x600 dosen't equal 2500......I hope that was a typo. (edit: I wonder if you actually play EVE, it's very math based, do you spend alot of time trying to figure out why a mod doesn't fit even though you math says it should, or do you just sit there in dock watching your ship spin?" If it is...
By your math, 4 cycles of 46,400 players who didn't give a crap about your protest = 185,600 people that didn't protest...
