That's right. You can cry all you want and cancel all your subscriptions, but unless you delete your characters it's obvious you'll be back. It might be a week, a month or even a few months, but unless you BIOMASS your character you're not fooling anybody. Especially CCP who can very easily see if the users who cancel their subs have biomassed or not.

People are not biomassing their characters, in the hope that something might change in CCP, and they can re-subscribe.
Why biomass? What if, in 3 days, CCP announces they've fired the people responsible for all this MT business and make a formal apology, and begin working on implementing some of the things people are requesting about CQ? All those people that biomassed will be screwed.

Then their whining holds no weight. Cancelling your subscription means nothing when you know you'll be back. You think CCP is going to miss a few thousand whiners in a game of 10's of thousands who are happy the way things are? The people who cancelled their subs WILL be back. And CCP knows this.

I must do nothing I choose to unsubscribe because the of choices made, and the path chosen. I choose not to biomass because the path comes with plenty of warning signs.

keeping those characters in existence holds no monetary value, when you're angry at your company you walk out, you don't quit your job, there would be no purpose in fighting for your reasons if you're going to throw away the reason you're fighting in the first place.

Biomassing/deleting does not necessarily stop people going back to a game. Incompetent, greedy companies do that.

People that do not care about EVE changing their mind about MTs will Biomass, and then shouldn't even bother coming back here.
Biomassing your characters will only make you not comeback whatsoever, it's a lose-lose situation. By unsubbing, you give yourself a foot in the door incase things change, if 1000accounts have all their characters biomassed, the expectations of EVE to see those 1000 accounts back is close to none since I'm more than sure that no body would want to restart from 0 in this game, so it means they won't care to change their mind. But instead, if they see that 1000 accounts are un-subbed for a while and still characters on them, and if they really want those 1000 accounts back, they know what to do and they will be back.

Your logic if deeply flawed. You are under some assumption that CCP doesn't get paid when someone buys a GTC which was used to make the PLEX in the first place. From CCP's standpoint, whether the PLEX is used or donated makes little difference, they simply donate the profit they made from selling the GTC in the first place.

What an awful analogy. If you're angry at your company and you walk out, you get fired. Unless you're part of a union or something, then you've got other options to assuage your anger. Please try again, or not.

Your analogy sounds like this:
You were a customer of a car renter, which you used for X reason. 1 day he comes at you and say "well, you'll have to pay supplements for the wheel, some extras for winter tires (assuming it is winter and there is snow), and you'll pay 5$ each time you want to open the trunk". You say "**** off, I won't do business with you anymore". So now, angry, you block all his possible phone numbers, filter all his mails in some way, so he can't communicate back with you in any way and you buy a car to do it all. Do you think he will even care about his new politics not working anymore? Do you think he will change it back like before cause of that? Or will he change his plans and contact you again (since you've been a smart "negotiator" and you haven't blocked any way to do business with him again) to have you back as a customer because he KNOW you will still do business with him if he retracts on the extras?

No don't biomass.
If you are just protesting just cancel.
If you biomass that tells them no matter what you aren't coming back so it will not change anything.

Actually a mass bio massing would really hurt eve as it would take mass assets out of the game destroy the economy and send a clear message to CCP saying they most likely are never seeing cash from that cow ever again .
it is extreme and has harsh consequences to the player but if "CCP stays the course" you have to ask your self do you really want to play that perverted version of eve they are intent on selling to us . music the paint dance floor the canvas your body the brush |

You break your leg jumping 2 stories high building, you go see a doctor and get it healed in a few weeks/months. You are happy you've done what was necessary to heal it fast enough to go swimming.
You lose your leg(s), let's say half (cause it is my situation), at first you feel sad, but then you move on with what you lost knowing they won't grow again.
What I mean: When you know you can have what you lost/broke back, you'll be a happy man and pay attention to what you do. When you know you won't get them back, you cry a little and move on with your new way.

The assumption that those not biomassing will be back is flawed and baseless. In fact, a more reasonable assumption is that the majority will not return if CCP implements what they fear is coming. And in that case, the end result is the same - a good number fewer subs per month. Now whether that's enough to make CCP care or not in the long run is another story.

Well, if I can just add another reason to the OP's request - Please biomass now, I'm tired of lame whines, juvenile rants, and my world would be (very very slightly) better if most of you weren't in it. Thanks. Also, stuff - I can haz?
