They're lagging jita and attempting to crash the node, this is unacceptable.

Seconding. When it gets to the point people are maliciously attacking the servers, the hammer needs to come down.

Enough said, ban them all.

Edited by: Alexandervo on 25/06/2011 06:55:31 A huge part of the player base is inside Jita or Amarr protesting right now. CCP would be losing massive sums of money if they just banned all of us. It looks like our riot is working as intended.

CCP has 375k+ active subscribers, and only 1-3k are protesting and all claim to be quitting Eve anyway.
Let CCP put them out of their misery, and make sure that they can't come back.

This is a MMO founded upon war fare...
the peaceful carebbears have perhaps pushed those ruthless pvper's who loathe fine cloathe too far!
Crashing a node is wrong.. but wardeccing empire corps and destroying their POSs one by one!? thats well within the game rules.
Disrupting the trade hubs and routes would be great emergent game play and require game responses of banding together.. relocating , or staying in station under seige until starved out like any normal strategic war!
No crashing nodes... make it a heroic game moment!

Actually there are that many accounts, there are much less subscribers as most people have many accounts. Also the fire that spread to Kotaku as well as a few other game sites (as mentioned in another thread) will probably hurt Eve's future subsciptions

So you want to protest the game you claim to love by ruining its reputation, ensuring it doesn't get subscriptions, and essentially trying to shut down the servers and tell CCP employees to die and/or threaten them?
You all deserve banned and thrown in jail. You aren't helping EVE, you're killing it.
Damn the PR, you people won't hear a damn word they say. It's a company, and they should start acting like it.
If you have a problem, get rid of the problem, namely the 2k people causing distention among the player base. The rest of us are quite happy. Go play with tanks and get out.

The people in jita aren't the ones that are lying about ongoing game development, ditching content just because they don't care to get it finished or are the ones that remove content just because they want everyone to use their new virtual box that has a mirror in it so you can see your prized monocle.
