I appreciate your apparently honest communication.
My six cancelled accounts await for the content of that update, whenever it may come, though. I am off to holidays and the first account will run out during that time. I will petition for the remaining time to be returned to my CC for the rest of them when I get back, unless the answer to The Question is the one that satisfies me.

EVE won't die. It's just that now there seems to be the possibility that it won't be the same in respect of a number of game features we were told (promised?) weren't going to happen.
It's a trust issue is all. With the trust broken, why should the vets who contributed so much to this game's community and 3rd party apps stay involved?
But yeah, Fallout, sorry for the crazy people. They don't represent all of us. (Although I did send Zulu a DCU2 in a contract last night.)

Contracting them critical survival equipment is a different matter altogether. That's practically a duty.

It seems mad that CCP are happy to let this continue..
I saw the other post linking all the websites carrying the story.. Its a PR disaster that is going to have drastic effects on recruiting new players... Cant the management see that? Someone really needs to take the finger out.. swallow some pride and start giving information that matters.

We've lost Ombey, Helicity, Liang as far as I know, anyone know any other influential people who have unsubbed?
The Mittani said that he and Goonswarm will be quitting if MT that effects gameplay is planned/introduced.

We can't blame our own community team. It's not their fault. I suspect the investors are really pushing MT and the devs are acting as the meat shield. Ever heard the phrase "there is no such thing as bad publicity"?
The fact of the matter is EVE got more attention now than they ever would've got only from Incarna itself. When the dust settles this will at least attract some new players.
CCP is a business and they are aware that can't please everyone, and they EXPECT certain amount of people to ragequit. The question being ofcourse, will there be more new players than old players leaving.
The sad truth is also that probably nothing is going to be changed unless 10.000's op players quit. And i don't see that happening just yet.
I for one am not going to quit (at least, not because of this and as long i can keep the CQ disabled). The way i see it, you still can do exactly the same as you did before.

Hope you lot are faring well and I just want to say that as unhappy as I am with CCP at the moment (that Tippia post covers my feelings pretty damn well), I do feel embarrassed by the personal attacks that have been flying around and how childish some people are being when you are trying to do what they are asking you to do.
