From what I've been able to pick out of the forums, that would seem to be the closest to the features we like about Eve. Is there an Eve refugee group (corp, guild or whatever it's called in that game) over there? Any other sandbox/player driven games worth checking out?

Yes there is an EVE refugee corp, join in-game channel EVE for more info.

Would be nice if the bloody client didn't break with a runtime error halfway through downloading.

I played the trial. It's like EVE, but still a long way to go. Not many subs and I expect the learning curve will be just as long.

This happened to me too. I just tried running the client again and the updater finished the second time.

At least their patcher resumes where it left off, a feature still not present in EVE's patcher.

There is no refugee group. If there is then destroy them. If you go to Perpetuum then do it EVE style. Take it over, make it yours, shoot everyone else.

Yes for some it will take a while to be a self entitled bittervet again!

yeah there is a ex eve corp and eve chat channel, numbers have gone through the roof over the last 2 days perpetuum devs must love ccp
