How smart is CCP's marketing team? Well, if you click on the Noblest Exchange and view the products up for sale you get nothing more then these LOW RESOLUTION products.
The products actually look really bad. There is no detail on them. Man if I have to pick over buying real pants over virtual reality pants, THOSE VR pants better look damn sexy.
WHAT I PROPOSE:
I propose CCP team up with HUGO BOSS, ARMANI, VICTORIA SECRET, etc.
What the nobel exchange will offer are actaul NOVELTY ITEMS.
Deck your new character out in an Armani suit. DRESS to impress that sexy level 4 agent of yours. "Boy youre so cute in that suit, Ive got a mission right up your ally"
And you know what, INCREASE THE POLY GON COUNT and make the items LOOK NICE. I want to be able to see the creases and the material in the product. I want to zoom in and see the zipper on my fly, and the CUSTOM MADE BELT BUCKLE.
I want to see my french cuffs on my Gallentian designed dress shirt with my sexy Gallente NAVY cuff links.
DO THIS AND I WILL BUY YOUR MONOCLES

CCP you should hire me as part of your marketing team. I will get Armani to design us a custom suit worthy of the Galentian empire. In return for royalties you can sell it on the Nobel Exchange.
Lets face it, you cant be good at everything. CCP is good at making a space ship sand box. Armani and Hugo Boss are good at making clothing lines.
CONTRACT THE WORK OUT, its common sense. I realize you want to keep the money in house, but honestly, those pants in the novelty shop just wont cut it. They look like I made them in 3d studio max 10 years ago.
Its 2011, the graphics should be better.

There will be significant restructuring of the price points for various items..
The important thing here is to also realize that setting price points for this aur is difficult. Many players have alot of isk so when they buy the PLEX in game its pretty easy for them to afford, so they dont have to spend real cash.
