Since the Incarna expansion I must say that this game runs more worse then previous ones on my Mac.Which has a ATI2400HD GPU.I know that this is not the very best but in the past I could set my settings to medium and it was playable.Now when I first started up this game with Incarna patch I must set all settings to low to even get the game running smooth.And the worst thing is I must even disable "walking in stations" cause othwrwise the freaking system would not even be playable at all....
So now im thinking when CCP is releasing the future expansions or updates when we are able to get out of our quarters and start walking inside the station it means I can not play that aspect of that game at all!!!Which means I can not play this game or interact with this type of aspect of this game.
So here are my questions for CCP...
1. Why in the hell did you not change the system requirements?You do say i'm able run this game but it's only half the game since I have to disable most of the settings.
2. When future updates are coming where we are able to walk within the stations itself how should I play that aspect of the game since your website does tell that my system has the requirements (probably) but in fact Im not even able to walk in my quarters...
3. Would CCP recommend me to quit this game now?Since future updates are require higher system specs although they say it's doable acccording on their website but makes me think its all propaganda in order to get more paying costumers.
Anyway it's easy to say for someone to say...O just buy an PC or buy a new Mac but most people do not have money growing on their back and personally I think CCP (and Transgaming for making worse wrappers with every update) is finding a way to get rid of the Mac community by giving us lesser fixes and more problems then those on Windows systems....
Anyway i'm just thinking

yeah man i feel the same about your questions. I havent got it running on my mac yet its looking like I might have to spend ú200 on a new graphics card. I put a forum up and some ppl are in some are not, and only one or two are saying it runs ok. Most of them (that Incarna is working for) are saying the same thing as you. That its unplayable.

The Captain Quarters itself is practically unplayable, though that is more due to design than anything else. The slow framerates in the Mac client merely compound the problem. The camera is bad, the controls are garbage, and the GUI is muddled and difficult to use with all the bouncing around. And don't get me started on it taking nearly two minutes to load up the client now.
Once out of station, however, and I don't notice any real difference. Still not as good as PC client, even with a more powerful Mac, but playable.

is the frame rate **** for PC players too or just mac players. Ive gone to bootcamping it and the framerate is slightly better
