If CCP would let you buy these items for ISK straight up, then at least it would be an ISK sink, something the game could need.
Anyway, I have a few hundred items in my hangars and I am fairly sure I have some exotic dancers and Spirit in there. I also have some slaves. Now, how do I get them out of the hangar and into the quarters? And once I have them in there, how do I get a ***** implant so I can show them how good this clone I am in is?
I would also log in more if there was an XXX patch for us basement dwellers. |

Trolling aside, this is dumb. How does NSC, or any of the others implementing this pathetic policy, think they have the right to decide what their members can spend their own money on? I dislike Aurum and MT just as much as the next guy but no corp should have a policy trying to restrict how their member's real or in-game money is spent.

I think you will find that these Aurum bans are far more than objections to MT. They are objections to the Incarna patch, the general direction of the game, the general approach and response by CCP to the whole situation, and the inevitablitly that is ôgold ammoö. Every single monocle is another $60 into CCPs coffers. Another $60 that tells them that Incarna is the right thing to do, that they should stay the course with MT, that they should look at what their players do, and not at what they say.
We donÆt have the right too tell players what they can and cannot spend their ISK or RL cash on. However, we have the right to impose limits on the members of our corporations, in the same way that our members have the right to chose to stay with us and abide by those rules, or to find another corporation.

Sorry you lost me after "Trolling Aside".
I actually agree with you however, I'm obviously not feeling well :P
I also think corps that take this view are discounting the possibility of picking up decent players later on down the line, purely over a moment of wallet heavy drunken vanity. It's not like they're eating babies. (Baby eaters all join TEST)
But hey it's their corp Chae, if vox populi says no aurum ever then fair play to em.
I'm kinda hoping TCN don't go the same way, just in case I get rich and drunk, and if I get rich I WILL get drunk. Waking up with a monocle and a hangover would be a helluva way to start a bad week.

The Cursed Navy will not follow the example from NSC - It's far too difficult to harass and torture monocle morons when you don't have the people in corp channel and are able to locate them from the corp interface...

By punishing someone for how they spend their ISK or RL cash you are basically saying that you do have a right to dictate how they spend their money. No kind of rationalising will make that not true.
