So the AUR and SP / standing sell is totally not acceptable and waste of time and a un - profitable business case (if i was the manager, then i have to reconsider the employee who pimped that out, but i am sure that guy did a brain storm session to throw away the blame )
I am sure if CCP has asked the opinion of the customer base it would generate more money. I ask all members to list ideas where its both useful from player's point of view and profitable for CCP.. the aim is collecting 100 idea to trash it back for CCP and i will begin with some (Ya i expect some ideas bashing but at least it won't be a scandal :P)
1. Money subscriptions to market news channel displayed in CQ monitor (benefit: traders can set up and flip their monitors to access all markets prices and hot deals with a 5 $ subscription per month, estimated earning for CCP: 5 USD * 1000 trader sub=5000 USD/month)
2. Improved In-game sound server to be rented for corps (benefit: cut the road on Vent and TS with nice eve-friendly features, estimated earning for CCP: 10 USD * 1000 corp sub=10000 USD/month)
3. Upload your corp logo for a 5 USD one time fee (5 USD * 4000 corp in first year = 20k USD)
i am running from , do i hear a 4?

If CCP is really in financial trouble and can't gather enough revenue to support developing on their games:
4: Bring on some more investors for WoD and Dust?
5: Up the subscription fee on EVE by a few bucks.
6: Charge for expansions (in the $10-15 range).
The key is, don't introduce something that'll break the game itself. If we have to pay $2 more pr month to play, most of us would happily do that. God knows the Icelandic economy has taken a beating these past few years, but to try and sneak in P2W content to squeeze out an extra dollar, spiced with the lies and general misconduct you have been displaying is not the way to go here. If anything you're just gonna make it harder for people to justify spending money on your product...

7. What's about placing in Game Ads from RL Companies. This could be fun maybe when you jump trough the Gate and on the other Side you can watch one of the funny Budweiser Ads. I know normally when i'm watching TV i will mostly skip the Advertisements, but there are some of them which are fun to watch. So with CQ there is a big Screen to seed Ads. For me this would be the smaller Prob than P2W MT.
just my 2 cents

- RL commercials in CQ TV ?
- CCP Casino games in CQ ?

This is just plain bad ideas. Sorry but plenty of EVE subers will only play for free, upping the prices put more pressure on people who pay via ISK/PLEX. Not to mention it will also cause people who play regularly to drop SUBS. The best model they can possibly use to increase revenue is going to be voluntary, as in through the MT store.
We can go ahead and argue what the edge is in terms of offerable things in the MT store that crosses from voluntary to PTW, but it still is the best solution.

This could run afoul of various countries' laws (especially the US).

This wouldn't work. One of the reasons selling expansions works for other games is that such expansions almost always add new territory/level caps/etc. It expands the game in a way that's fairly simple to limit for those who do not buy the expansion. See WoW; they can sell you expansions which add more areas and level caps. If you don't buy the expansion, you just can't level that high.
EVE can't really do that. So far, the only expansion for which that kind of model would work would have been Apocrypha, since it has WH's. (And yes, maybe Incarna, with the CQ, but considering how that turned out...) You might be able to put up barriers between item classes, but it'd be a PITA to implement, not to mention it would hamstring the economy by limiting the producers to those who bought the expansion.
