Take a look and give it a try:

I'd give it a try, seems to be eve 2.0

It's an awful space shooter, no link with Eve excepting that's about spaceships.

Another game to consider is Vendetta online. If you can stomach low res graphics and smallish community

Yeh black prophecy is fun for a few days but becomes a waste of time when you see all the same missions repeated and max level players with MT items dominating tha **** out of the pvp areas. |

If you hated Incarna, you'll hate BP even more. It's horribly coded, full of bugs, and lags like hell, which is even worse for this game considering its a control your ship yourself to pew pew game.
Spare yourself the bandwidth, time, and trouble.

Just watched the trailer on their website. Reminds me so much about the old eve trailers like the exodus trailer or eve never fades. How many are we in that game yet? |

Have been playing since beta, the game is OK. But has zero future. And if you were there for beta, you would now the dev's have clearly stated the game is not intended for any major updates, but they are very clear with what they have planned for the game, and very transparent. They just lack the engine the game needed to progress into the future.
I have been and will play the game till it dies, but really if anyone is looking for a hardcore game that will/maybe last. Mortal Online could pull it off. Perpetuum is not that game. World of Tanks has a brighter future.
As a huge Perpetuum fan, even I would ask, why offer this game to any Eve player. It is like going from Zelda to Mario. If u get my drift.

Edited by: Kurvica Kravlja on 26/06/2011 11:29:10 how old is that perpetuum game? it seems like some disgruntled former ccp developer work, which considering the current status might actually be very good for players
training from the beginning still seems like a lot of work though, how is the player base, any eve runaways?

The draw for me is the sandbox, and large scale world pvp<once we have enough players>
and a minor thing. no pay2win.
But yeah, not AAA quality.

Alright sold, that game looks like so much fun. Will be there for sure.
char depth/twitch/spaceships. CCP is way behind the times.
But watching the video. I can imagine CCP must have a few dozen law suits pending agianst the devs of that game. They do need there money for there up coming releases..LAWL

Ya the lack of "Plex" and what not is very nice in that game. Pay to win/fly is not very much fun.
Dont get me wrong, I love to play Perpetuum, but the long term life of that game is not a suitable replacement for a game that Eve could have been.

Accually Perpetuum is a carbon copy of Eve with walking robots, and very dated graphics. So all the vets that say the old Eve was perfect and screw graphics. They would fit right in there. But in Perpetuum there is no hiding in some back water system while u roll in the isk. It is all right in your face, no Hello Kitty there.
Pirating is still a option there also.

With World of Tanks you can have fun freely for 6 months without any efforts.
If you are used to flying Matar ships you'll feel at home in a WWII tank

I tried it very briefly when it was in beta. It didn't seem 'too' bad. It felt like a cross between eve and freelancer. I believe you can ship spin also! I only played for a few hours and it didnt really grab me that much but i am planning to check it out again when the english version is released by Gamersfirst.

I have its all right some translator bugs and so on. I think it might be a bit play to win styleish but no fee each month though.

WoT was fun during beta period however, after launch the "wallet warriors" kind of took over PvP with superior tanks and ammo all bought with MT.
