Where is this Universe coming to, we Amarr have exelent slave ships and with the intudiction of the new Sigil one would imagen slaves could be stacked neatly together for transport after all the Sigil is recent ship from Viziam and is based on a old slave transport design.
Come on, 3 m3 for 1 single slave is ridicules, ok Brutors are big but still no excuse for requiring a slave to take up 3x the space of cattle.
Is this the end of the slave trade as we know it since it is hardly profitable to do slave runs any more.
This this is not exeptable and needs to be fixed asap.
It's like the SCC is being secretly manipulated by those filthy abolitionist

This disgusts me. How would you like to be stuck in a small box and ferried around? Not much I bet. How can you complain about Minmatar incursions when you compare them to mere cattle?

So slaves need space but it is perfectly fair to cram tourists and refugees into 1 m3 slots? Even Marines, with their equipment only use 2 m3.

I wonder why more tourists haven't started demanding larger accomdations when getting ferried about? If I was paying for a trip to Erenta and was crammed into a 1 m^3 area I'd be demanding some money back like you wouldn't believe.

Then start transporting Gallente slaves. Those skinny little runts take up far less space, trust me... Specially if you pack em into cargo containers. Sure, half will die, but at a third the required cargo space, you still win!

Many passengers that far more important than a slave is given less cargo space. Since when do slaves require the space that other passengers are denied?

I seriously doubt that 'humor' had anything to do with the 'creation' of the Amarr. I don't think I've ever seen one laugh... or even smile. They all look like atrophied old corpses with permanent scowls.

Oh stop whining.
Your slaves get a nice, comfortable trip. This means they are not stiff and sore following the journey. For some of you, the noticible gains on slave production immediatly following transport should be the benefit you see, while some of us are just glad to concede this small priveledge to those who are serving our Empire in such a capacity.

It has been decreed by the divine Emperor Doriam Kor-Azor that slaves are to be treated humanely. Tourists are not mentioned in that decree, nor are Marines or any other rishrash pack you might think of.

The answer is to stop trading in slaves then you would'nt need to complain about the space they take up

Hmm.. Yes, slaves shall be treated humane as the Emperor decrees, but if they take up 3 tiems the sapce of elite slaves, i'm beginning to wonder if they are beeing treated to well.. They should not be overweight, as that is harmfull for their health and efficency, and is agenst the Emperor decree. So I ugre all Holders to put all their overweight slaves on a strict diet. 1 meal every 2 days in a mounth should bring them down to an acceptable size.

Maybe they're so big because of the boxes they come in... I recommend taking them out of the boxes and arranging them more efficiently. ^^

Far be it from me to point this out, but the commodity is "Slaves" (plural) IE more than one. Could it not be that there are simply more slaves per "unit" than marines or tourists? Maybe once that's settled we could get back to whinging about more important stuff?

Quite right actually. If we assume, say, that 1 unit of slaves means e.g. 10 of them, then I'm totally ok with the 3m3. But the profit is stupid and totally unrealistic. Afterall, apparently most (or all?) of the economy of Amarr is basesd on slaves. How so, if nobody ships them around because it's not worth it?!?
If our economy is so dependend on slaves they should be a) relatively rare and b) relatively expensive. And well worth investing into and profitable to ferry from A to B.
And where please is the agent mission "slave run"? I'd love to hunt them instead of just trading

From what I hear, you Amarrians receive a hell of a lot of slaves absolutely free from agents. How is it not worthwhile to sell the slaves you get for nothing?

So... what's wrong with slaves taking up so much room, anyways? Why you need so many of them at once, you know... you should just like, trade the old slaves that don't work so well for new ones so you don't need as many ^^

Considering a unit of cattle is larger in actual size then all but the largest Brutor slave I see no reason a slave requires this excessive amount of cargo space.
I know slaves can be comfortably fit in a transport cubicle aboard a Bestower while only requiring cattle size space.
Even the SPCS recognizes this required amount of space as excessive. Considering they are the shining light of fair treatment of slaves I feel the required dimensions should be decreased.

Hail fellow Amarrians, greetings i say to the rest.
Hear we have shining examble of the very root of our goals with slave traiding.
Here is an Minmatar that asks me to remind him of what i was complaining about again.
So i will AGAIN!!!
For the sake of inlightenment for others with same quiestion on their mind let me refrace to take any dought about what i meant.
The time invested in moving slaves insted of other properties is not good investment when one consider the prices of slaves today and the amount of cargo space they take.
I could be moving White Glaze or even just common ore for that matter same distances and earn more.
So i see this as a threat on our traditions that includes slave running and traiding since it is crusial that we get as many of the lost souls out there as quickly to their censes as we can in as many numbers as possible to speed up the process of getting them real help.
I hear that fewer and fewer see slave running as good option when the slaves need a wooping 3 m3 to transport.
I say it is in the intrest of bouth Amarr and Minmatars that we cramp the slaves down to 1 m3 for the travels between systems so even more can come each time and enjoy the new life they deserve.
Trade well and prosper.

I don't understand.. what's stopping you from putting them in the space however you want, anyways? I mean, you can just stack them instead, that might work... or else tie them together or something. That should help, right? You could even wrap them in cellophane, I found that helps a ton with alot of cases of minerals when you put them on a pallet.
And they're slaves, right? So they should be used to it, right? I mean, you don't get turned a slave for not doing anything bad, anyways.. so they oughtta be able to handle it.
