Particularly Soundwave and Zulu,
I apologize on behalf of the rest of the forum-goers. I realize that this is not your call and you're just doing your job. I realize that you're in a difficult position, caught between what your bosses want you to say and what your customers want to hear. You are just doing your jobs and I understand that.
You run an Internet spaceship game full of socially-backward aspie ******s. That doesn't excuse their behavior, but you have to take that into account when dealing with us. Don't take it personally.
That doesn't make them wrong, though. MT are a bad idea and will be bad for Eve. Just dont take it personally.

listen to this EVE radio discussion with several CSM members and prominent players.
It made things really clear on whats going on here.
I'm not blaming CCP Zulu or CCP Soundwave. Zulu's blog didn't sound like him at all.
It sounds more like Hilmar or someone in higher management is forcing the company into this direction and it muting all the other sounds from the company...
Microtransactions in and all of themselves for vanity items should be ok.
Prices are way to high for the average player which is kindof dumb from a marketing perspective.
However, Game effecting items for microtransations are gamebreaking and should NEVER be introduced.

Agreed. The are some truly bat sh*t insane people on here. Zulu et all are just following the corporate line, you know, to keep themselves in a job. You can't blame them for wanting to keep a roof over their heads.
I care about Eve, and will quit if non vanity items come to the Nex store. But it's a game, try to keep a sense of perspective here

Zulu is the senior producer for Eve.... Nathan is the Senior producer for CCP. Jon Hordial is the COO and in charge of the Website and forums. Zulu is not a scapegoat in many ways as it does not get much higher than him.
