..we are allowed to cashout. In Entropia Universe you pay 20.000 dollar for a gun too, but the ingame currency is fixed to the dollar and you can earn money by changing it back. So.. if CCP wants to make it into an Entropia then give us the good side of it too, allow us to change AURUM back to dollars! Maybe with a 20% fee that CCP can keep. |

Edited by: Jak Silverheart on 26/06/2011 19:24:33 You do realize we will suicide gank, pod, or do whatever we have to to destroy those 20k ships or whatever the said person bought. This is EVE ONLINE we are sick sadistic bastards, that is a shiny target worth lots of money. And to top it off most of us hate MT, so we would make those pilots life hell.

Sure, it has to be destructible. Of course i cant afford it, but i would love making 1000 dollar a month in EVE like i did in Entropia. This would finally be possible! |

Well, if the ship came with some really good home made ice cream or something...Yeah I guess it might be worth it.

I did, it was ****.
And the reason people paid big bucks was because currency in game could be cashed out so people invested in various crap.
In EvE you can get ISK or AUR with $ but never $ from either, and you can also get AUR with ISK so whos going to pay 20,000 RL dollars when you can pay with in-game money. Heck you could spend $20,000 on PLEX, sell in game for ton of ISK, invest it and buy enough AUR to buy 20 grand item and have ISK leftover.
Fact is no ones going to pay RL cash in NeX store, its for in game rich peeps and makes no logical sense to.
Or are you one of those people who think anyone who bought a monocle actually paid RL money

Exactly this is the problem this topic is about. If CCP adds the feature to throw dollars in a black hole they need to allow us to get dollars back, so we can finally start making cash from eve (legally). I have no problems with earning 1000 dollars a month in eve off some rich boy who thinks he needs to waste a few k dollars on a ship. |

Its Economics 101 brah?
Name one advantage of directly turning PLEX into AUR
As opposed to turning PLEX into ISK, then working out if its cheaper to buy item on contracts with ISK or using buy orders to snap up some cheap PLEX's and get the AUR. Also have the added benefit of being able to invest ISK and making more out of it. So yea again......why, why would someone directly convert PLEX to AUR?
Scenario A, you get the NeX item you wanted
Scenario B, you get ISK, the item you want + whatever ISK you saved/made.
Repeat with me
No ones going to spend RL money in NeX Store, it has ZERO advantage.
Bloody morons

I'm sorry if it's over your head, but there are people with enough money to not care and just buy stuff for real cash instead of working for ISK to exchange them for AURUM.
Yeah ... bloody morons ... i see plenty in this thread.

yea its over my head......do an economics course, realize every item has an ISK price as much as a $ price, realize these prices are interchangable then come back and think about it again, derpa derp.
0/
Edit: Wait instead of workin for ISK? lawl wow you're clueless
You do realize people sell PLEX for ISK yea?!
