While contemplating the obviously difficult problem of ôWhat can CCP do to get rid of PLEX that the players would actually be happy about?ö I had this idea, which might or might not be worth anything at all.
Why not allow players to use PLEX to train multiple characters on one account? Each PLEX would have to trade in for less than 30 days so as not to cannibalize real accounts, but in some cases I would consider the higher cost of training a second character to be worth it. For example, say I bought a market alt and had it transferred to my main account. I decide that this alt would benefit from PI skills, but there's no way that I'm stopping training on my main. It would be totally worth it to me to buy a PLEX for, say, 20 days of training time, and CCP would get more profit because I am (willingly and happily) double-paying my account for that month.

That actually seems okay to me I think you wouldn't even need to lower the time from the plex since you can't use the alt on that account while your main is active. By that means you're still better off using plex on another account since you can actually use 2 characters at the same time but why not add the possibilty even if only a "few" people might actually use it.

that would work. although at the same time it makes me wonder why someone would pay twice on one account to have an extra character that they can't use, when they could pay once for two accounts that they can use together.

Instead just make a 21 day trial through buddy invite, then plex it. U get 30 days on ur main and 30 days added to the 21 on that alt making 51 days. Skill whatever u need, then transfer the character to ur main if need be. If u need some more time, plex it one more time (which would still be more then the 20 days proposed above).

Only thing this affects is if you have multiple chars per account already and one of them needs another skill. For instance your manufacturing characters are on the same account as your titan character. Titan is training but your manufacturing guys suddenly need some extra skills, for PI perhaps.
Currently you'd have to stop something training or spend a couple PLEX shifting a character over.
It's a good idea, I think it has merit.

This. You also get two extra alts to boot with the extra account. Seems like a no brainer..why waste plex on the one account alt?

Why two characters on one account? Because once you get your alt trained up, you can stop paying for it and still keep it around.

I do like this idea
often I am starting up a temp account to build a marketing or a POS toon and then pay for a character transfer.
It would be nice to skip a step.

Better idea:
You pay for an account, and do what most people do
You earn ISK for PLEXs, you invite friends and they subscribe, you get extra time, etc.
I would rather train multiple characters on the same account for the price of something that I often that I can pay in-game money for than to pay real-life money for 2 or more accounts.
