Well here is my idea to solve a problem lots of ppl have today with pirate corporations.
All in favour of doing an all out war against the player pirate corporations, say Aye!!
Not up to a fight! Dont whine it is the EULA its ok!

Even the players of M0o, Da-Dragons etc. feel free to post a message i am waiting for any awnsers.
I would be happy to do open war with any one and i wont whine if i lose nething did to much PvP already to know how it is, EQ, AC, AC2, etc.

Look up the Placid Alliance. Though I would not say we gave Moo the beating they so deserve we do have them looking over their should a lot more theese days.

Firstly, im not a pirate despite the name.
Secondly, we need both pirates and pirate hunters. Dont join because you want to rid them all from the game... because you never will. Do it to enjoy the hunt and the kill!
Welcome to EVE, sit back, relax, and have some fun. But dont go trying to change the game. EVE is ALL about pirating. Just pick a side and fight the good fight.

I still want to know who is funding these player pirates - their expenditure far outweights the amount of isk they can be making from mining etc.
Most pirate corps have less than 35 members.........

The other day I lost a Moa to Gauss and Ywev (damn, I shouldn't play Splinter Cell while travelling). 2x250 gauss = 2-3 million isk on the market... and that is just two of the guns I had on, not counting the other unique equipment, so figure they get a moron with a nicely outfitted ship who isn't paying attention (or is, but is not very good, or is outnumbered...) every 1 or two hours, that is at least 2-3 mil per day per pirate.
There you go, a good reason to be a pirate...

Eh, most pirate corps don't need external funding.
You'd be amazed at how many Indy drivers go AFK on Autopilot carrying 30m worth of robotics.

Yeah right, with all respect to all players nad all opinions, here is what piracy looks currently in Eve.
Im a pirate, ok?
I look at the map
"pilots in space",
"corp members in space"
I enter a system,
A chocke point system and I choose the only gate that leads to the rest of the eve world behind me.
I stay 10k from the jump gate,
I wait for xyz player to drop by,
I carry looted hybrids with me, more damage more range, (best weapon for close range)
I see player xyz gettin out of warp,
he locks me automatically cause I register as a threat to him,
I fire, I do not make too much damage to him,
I right click gate, I jump,
Thats it im now free to go!
Next time i take another pirate with me, more firepower, more chances to be succesfull.
Now Im a pirate in my own system,
Some task force is going to raid me,
My system has only 1 gate from where i expect threats from the civilized world (0.1 and above)
I enter this gate,
I jump back to my system,
i stay where I jumped,
I carry some ore in my container,
I divide it in 50 pieces,
I jettison each piece in space,
I now see some 40, 50 or 60 containers near me,
I say to group mates to warp to me,
I wait, the task force jumps,
they come in and by the time they got lock on me they all crash or just lag for 15 seconds, because of the cargo containers and us locking to them,
many of them had just crashed, and I am shooting now their empty ships who going to be vanished from space in 2 minutes, plenty of time to me to steal or destroy their ships,
I ussualy back up and go dock to station, because lag starting to get big for me too,
the task force leaves.
Thats it I won, Im a happy pirate.
:)
P.S. Fixing the rendering engine so we dont get to see such exploits, is not an option for CCP, they will never do it, they cant.
Eve will go down in history as the wuss pirate game.
End of story. :)

First of all thamk you for making all of these comments, i said ill wage open war with them not ridding the EVE gal of them.
Too easy these days too down a 20-30k NPC pirate in a Rifter. So no fun without all the PC pirates.
So thanks for being out there: M0o, Da-Dragons, The Gang and the rest i havent met yet!
Second of all: Intruders get a better PC, you will need 100+ of containers too slow me down!
The rendering is done by the client, aka the part of the game you have instaled so its all about your own Graphical card, Ram, HD speed, and processor speed.
That is the way a pirate will play a pirate char if he does it good.

I'm still surprised at how ignorant so many players are. The forums are Very inaccurate, as we've pointed out before. DA-Dragons is NOT a pirate corp, regardless of how many nubs go crying the word because the word 'pirate' is thrown onto anyone that destoys a ship. We're territorial industrialists, which there is a big difference to. Our guards have destroyed some ships entering our territory, sure. Were some podded? Yes, by some extremists, and our rules have been changing. For the most part we've given people warnings to leave, and we always keep our word to it--if we guarantee someone safe passage out, they will not be fired upon. If they refuse to leave our area and choose rather to attempt to develop their corps in our space, then yes we will dispose of them.
In short, get the facts straight before you throw around the word 'pirate'.

If you're not a pirate.. how can you not be at war with the pirates? You supply them? :)
As for dropping many cans, some cruisers seem to be immune to the new rule. (a bug no doubt)
And Sara, there is worse then pirates. People who think we dont have rights to a spatial area. ****'s

Psh... consider this. You're in a mining corp as your info shows. Lets say hypothetically that you found a system with 1000 Ark and Bist. Would you want every other corp coming in to mine it out of your hands? I think not.

Exactly Sara... this is what I see the next stage of the game developing as, corp fights over rare resources. Hasn't quite taken off like this yet, but it is getting there :)

yep. Wars over rare ore is coming, and it's GREAT.
War against pirate-corps? Can't be done. They are pirates. Not up for a fight. As soon as we enter a system where they have a blockade with a big fleet, they all just warp to one of the 30+ planets/moons and log. Can't find them before they are gone.
