The Noctis is a dedicated savager. As such the range on the salvage beams should be on par with the tractor beams or at least 1/2 the distance of the tractor beams. Leave them the way they are. or at least make the ranges skill based on ship.

God you really are stupid of the stupid. In the last patch they created a bug which inadvertently applied the same bonus to salvager as the tractor beam. They fixed their code to remove the bonus. Salvaging at 16km out was not an exploit, it was working as intended by the code implemented by CCP themselves. An exploit is doing something that purposefully breaks the game mechanics (lighting cynos in cyno blocked systems is an example). Simply using your ship as intended by pressing "salvage" is not exploit.
Do you have to work that hard at stupid or is it simply your natural talent?

Please leave it as is. Apart from the agent finder, its the most useful feature of Incarna... sadly.
