Wrong forum. 
By the way, Blizzard is not as bad as people here make them out to be. It's Activision you have to look out for, they steal your wallet and have sex with your wife while selling you crappy plastic controllers for 90$. The Blizzard Devs still have their souls, and most of them actually hate what Activision is putting into their game.

As a long time WoW player, I can tell you that WoW started going downhill after the merger with ActiVision.

Yeah I agree dude that's why I posted it, not something Blizzard would do, even though they cater for more noobs than your average MMO. Guess it all comes down to integrity and understanding what your players want and what to give them.

People can start dressing up in the latest fashions literally hours after hitting the level cap in WoW. Making them pay would be a tough sell.

Funnily enough, two of those features are already available to a degree. You can get an authenticator for $5 or so, making your account considerably more secure. Also they have a Recruit a Friend feature where you can bring in another person who gets something like triple xp and a bunch of free levels. Many people used this like the Eve players used the Buddy Program, and just bought a 2nd account to level their alts faster and some limited dual boxing.
They have remained staunchly against any form of Pay 2 Win however, even in pve. I've no real idea why. Apart from the fact that they clearly don't need the money, unlike CCP. And WoW generally has a more egalitarian/socialist ethos, where provided you keep paying your monthly sub and do your daily quests and dungeons you can remain on par with 90% of the other players.

Its also a pain in the ass to design outfits that will fit 20 wildly different body types(10 races times 2 genders). Much easier for them to just release new mounts and pets.
