Ever since Incursion 1.6 (CarbonUI), I see the "warp tunnel" effect MAYBE 50% of the time. The rest of the time I see the blueshift / redshift effect, but no "vortex" effect.
I know a bunch of other people have this problem - does everybody have it?
I run the client on max graphics settings at 1900x1220, Win7, nVidia card, drivers up to date, cache cleared etc. etc.

I'd like a fix of the "perpetually considered pressed control key locking everything I click on overview" bug, if they just can fix one :)

If this does get fixed, I want a graphics option to turn the vortex off. It looks really tacky, and I've come to enjoy warping without it

i was hoping 1.0.1 addressed this silently, since it worked for me now, even zooming in (while most of the time it didnt work)
but it wasnt in the changelog, so...
I guess if they fix that, they could fix the sometimes appearing wrongdirectional vortex too. thats one of the most confusing effects appearing.
weird, would have never thought somebody wants the vortex actually gone :/
but if there would be vortex settings, I want a checker for louder warpbarrier breach sound, too. that rocks so much, I cant get enough.

I quite like it without the warp tunnel effect so take your time CCP no rush :P |

I really would like to see a warp vortex fix. Now when i warp without vortex i feel like my ship isn't moving at all and is hanging in space, sometimes it gives a feeling of hanged game.

Got the same issue, but its not 50% of the time for me. More like 80% of all warps are without the "vortex".

this is a joke ccp do all they can to fix bug (with priority) you just wish they can do it instant .... but no its not the case.
more on your bug: eh? i never seen that one, have you checked that: your ctrl touch is blocked or have a malfunction ( ok less sarcastic since when you have that bug ?)
about warp tunnel i got that bug only once since incarna deployement : turn off HDR and turn ON again for me it works just try that

I run two clients, one has warp effects and one does not! Wierd a a little annoying.

For me, has been coming on/off at random since Incursion. Now with Incarna I have no tunnels at all. With the previous patch the 90deg alignment bug made an appearance again, i.e. tunnel or ship is 90deg to the direction of travel.
Fun stuff this...
GFX maxed, Nvidia doodah wotsit... Windoze 7... Incidentally I get no-tunnel at all on a mac either, but none of the other weirdness. |

I also experience this. The warp tunnel effect is very hit and miss. Sometimes I see it, sometimes I don't. Can't really explain why it's only there part of the time but you really do lose the sense of speed and movement without it.
