Hands sweaty, my fully T2 fitted Paladin staring down the bore of a gate from high-sec to low-sec.
My fate lay in my hands, I knew the risk. But I knew that afer pouring over 20 PLEX into making this the greatest Paladin fit ever, I could annihilate any petty pirate that stood in my way.
So I jumped.
I arrived in the system expecting to have to break in my T2 Officer-Faction turrets sooner than expected, but instead saw peace and tranquility.
I began to warp to the only station in the system to scope out the 4 or so people in local, when much to my surprise the 4 players warped in on the gate, all in tiny, pathetic, ships called "interceptors."
I did not panic, for I knew that with so much as a blink I could burn a hole clean through their ships and probably through the galaxy.
But when my mighty lasers were locked and firing, they did no damage!
How could this be??? One shot after another missing???
But...But...I spent so much MONEY!!!! I PAID HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS IN PLEX....TO WIN!!!!
Yet how am I losing????!!!!!
So there I was....moments later, sitting in my pod, my precious ship blown to smithereans.
The portraits of those disgusting, MONACLED pirate scum staring me down.
It then hit me.
I had lost not because my ship had failed me, but because their MONCACLES had given them an unfair advantage!!!!
It cannot possibly be because I had more RL money than common sense 
TLDR - According to the EVE forums, monacles and clothes give players an unfair advantage in combat.
Hey, we can't expect them to be geniuses XD

NeX store is step 1. People are enraged by the prices, yes, but the real argument is it's the first step in eventually introducing items that will give an advantage.
CCP hasn't straight up denied this despite the rage, so there's little doubt that was/is their intention.

I'm pretty sure the OP is ******ed. . .
Maybe it's the way he completely missed the point of all the rage.
But I think mostly it's because he thought a Marauder would be a good example of a pimped out PvP ship.
