Hi my name is Seraphis Amun and I am an Eve addict. My Eve account ran out this morning and I managed 8hours before I re-sub'd.
For those of you who have tried to drop Eve and have failed, how do you live with the shame?
I am thinking about a trip to the local tittie bar and liquor store to drown my sorrows.

I usually go 3 months before I think about heading back. Incarna multiplayer will be reason to come back. Incarna wasn't my motive to leave though. I'm just bored. |

Jumping off a bridge also do the trick... That's how I normaly extend my time-out-of-eve.

I would say that you haven't given up. As long as you are paying you are a customer, and that means you have a voice. You are here to save the universe you love and noone can begrudge you for that.
I might be wrong. You are just tempted to come back and grief people, not just in the isk wallet, but in the real wallet as well.

if MT stays fancy non game play altering, i will re-sub =\

Don't know? I just got bored last time and ****ed off for a few months. Decided I'd give it a shot, put in for a PLEX, quickly got bored again, but figured I'd see Incarna. Now I'm just rather bored with Eve and angry about Incarna issues. I put in for another PLEX just before Incarna came out, so I feel rather silly. So now one of my toons is stuck out in space in a carrier, training JDC 5. Once I jump her out of where she is, I don't think I'll have a problem quitting again, unless CCP manages to give me some good answers in regards to the P2W issue.

Shame? There are unsubbing and resubbing becouse of boredom, broken mechanics that disrupt most enjoyable eve activity that are fixed later and those are regular and nothing to talk about.
Also there are unsubbing by principle, like mt store in pay to play games and those really are permanent if it drops your enjoyment from game, why waste cash on something you dont like? If you don`t like that direction and type of gameplay why you should resub? And if you don`t mind why be ashamed?

I am not going to keep all 7 of my accounts active. I think that I am going to cut back to maybe 3-4.
That leaves more $$$ for important things like hookers and blo.

Same way I deal with it after a trip to the red-light district: I drink a bottle of vodka and tie myself up in a gimp suit while live streaming.

You shouldn't feel shame because you don't require as much out of your game as an intelligent person. Play what you like. May I recommend Lincoln logs or perhaps blocks for those times when no one is around to help you get on the internet.

July 7th is when mine runs out, so I have at least until then. But regardless, I won't be back. I just have a real problem with people I pay money too not trusting me enough to answer simple questions. It smacks of arrogance and deceipt.
