If only they were CCP alts. The sad reality is most of them are just noobish people with no sense of history or anything whatsoever who are sad that bad things are being said about their new favorite game, and they are really hoping their little posts will make it all go away.

Guess it took as many as they could make.
Among all of the disgruntled posting, I noticed someone asking for players to make a new thread every 5 minutes. Others were playing 'Big Brother' telling the Eve Community to cool down. Still others saying they could play the game with no problems at all and of course, other one's praising this latest expansion.
For the past couple of months I've noticed most negative viewpoint threads being locked rather quickly and or moved to obscure sub-forum sections. That's a clear case of biased censoring instead of moderating. This as well as everything else, is not acceptable.
It's just sad, it really is.

There are a few posters posting counter points to the 'protest' and there are (if you believe the hype) more protesters, surely that makes the protesters the herd.
Can you at least think about your insults before spitting them out. Got no problem being insulted, but lazy insulting... you should be ashamed.

Most of the decent positive posters that I have seen are easily recognisable to regular forum readers. Several of them I note have been critics of CCP in the past.
I feel that although there is the potential for game breaking changes, my observation of CCP over the last 5 years leads me to believe that it is very unlikely.
I have noted that they are extremely cautious with introducing changes that can have a large effect on the game. This is why some changes take so long to be implemented IMHO.
Yes they make mistakes (what company doesn't) but these are usually rectified and for me personally the game has never been in better shape!
I started an account in 2003 but stopped playing after 3 months because I found it a little dull. I came back in 2006 and the game was far better and has continued to improve for me.
I can only imagine what it must be like to have a public forum where all of your customers can comment annonymously. The thought of it makes me shudder.
