Abyssal Angel Caldari The Collective B O R G	Posted - 2011.06.29 21:38:00 - [1] I've been playing EVE since late 2004. I've read all the forums, I've kept in the loop, just never posted much. I never, never, EVER, get abusive or aggresive towards publishers for game mechanics, not in all the years I've played EVE nor any other game. Please take this following as a sign of how **ing disgusted I am at the current state of Incarna. I agree that walking in stations and being separated from our PODs could be a good idea and an immersive one at that, but the implementation of Incarna is so ty I'm vomiting. The controls feel like an PS3 controller dunked into water and running low on batteries: slow, counterintuitive, bad, sloppy, freaking bad, more sloppy and not something I had expected to ever experience again (in terms of unplayablility). This is ing disgusting! Add to that the whole other farce about the FEARLESS and yadayada, I'm thoroughly dismayed, disheartened and disgusted by what drivel and swill we're served. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE I know to play the game in the state Incarna is in, and that is a first for me, I've always lauded EVE as hardcore, evil and meaningful in a way games where dying is of no consquence can never hope to match, and have used those points to praise EVE to friends and family. No ing more, I'd be embarrassed if anyone started playing now because of wanting to experience any of the things I had told about. CCP, in the nicest ing terms, delete Incarna in its current state, start the over and develop an-station environment that doesn't look, feel and behave like a ing beta phase of a crappy 2 dollar game never released due to shame. CCP, until you fix this , I will leave you with a YOU! Earn my trust in 6 months time and I'll apologize, but for now that sums up me **ing disgusted sick feeling towards you, EVE, and the future of EVE. I won't hold my breath waiting for change, I'll let my actions speak for me and not resub, not even for the isk I have ingame, there's no point, GG /Farewell. I thought that too, at first. But then I signed up for RIFT and ... same control scheme. Seems ASWD to move and strafe with the left hand while holding down right mouse button and moving the mouse to turn left/right as you move, is the standard MMO way of doing things these days.

I'm still hoping that it is indeed a tech test and that it was delivered to us in some weird debug mode designed to collect performance data. However that hope is slowly fading away. Also the reaction I had when I saw CQ for the first time is pretty much the same as the one the OP is describing. I can still feel the rage bubbling whenever I dock and look at the nice door wallpaper.

Seriously I think thefact that we got lame Incarna in exchange for 18 months of no content is big part of the anger. But its not like CCP can do anthing about that, so the energy is being focused on the other thing we dont like - NEX. Wherever you went - Here you are.
