If not, - well thats sort of what we are worried about. I've yet to see a csm take a position siding with CCP on this issue lately either. Also, Jade isn't on CCP's side on this.

A tab on my corp profile for settled systems Pay the TCU bills, pay the IHub bills, do all the admin stuff everyone seems to hate, let others pew-pew and just do my paperwork. Everyone is terrified to death I might be a spy or something. I dunno.

digitalwanderer Gallente DF0 incorporated	Posted - 2011.06.30 02:12:00 - [42] As far as i'm concerned, if i were a much younger player in EVE i'd be seriously ****ed if Pay to win becomes standard operating procedure from now onwards, as it creates 2 classes of players within the same game, and from what i can tell items purchased thru MT can never be destroyed at least as far as clothing and accessories like the monocle, so that goes against one of the fundamental gameplay elements of EVE itself.....It's death penalty if you get killed. Implants can be lost, hardwirings and the ship and a good chunk of it's fittings too, and depending on the ship that was destroyed, the insurance might cover only a small fraction even if fully insured(think capital ships here)....You can imagine if custom ships bought thru MT can't be lost no matter how many times they're blown up, especially if they sell them for insane prices at the MT shop. As for me, i'm an 8 year char and started pretty much when the game did, so most of stuff that CCP could potentially add to the MT store i either already have it or can easily afford it, and this char will be pretty close to the 200 million skill point mark by late next year, so in terms of overall picture, MT doesn't really affect me in the least as i earned everything the old fashion way and proud of it....

I guess that makes the situation better then, though it does make those that bought those things rather dumb for doing so as it is almost the price of a dreadnaught we're talking about here....Keep in mind that i'm putting faith on what that developer said, though CCP shadow last year told that MT would never be a part of eve period, and here we have it with Incarna... To be quite honest, users have the ultimate power in making or breaking MT and the extra money CCP is banking on making with the feature by simply not using it at all, even for the smallest things, but that requires users with the mental discipline and long term determination not to take shortcuts of any kind, something that many have already proved otherwise such as when using dozens of plex purchases to fund their own super carrier and titans.... I've always been playing eve using a single account and never used plexes and will never use manual transactions either, but again that's just me....

CCP seems to be having a banhammer for EVE celebrities that speak against them eg Helicity and Liang.
