The part I've always found most ironic is that the kind of people who spout this drek usually call it a "Liberal Conspiracy" or otherwise attribute it to the Liberals, when in fact the corporations principally involved in importing Gallentean entertainment and products would be NOH and CBD - both Practicals.

I stand corrected, and apologise for such a total failure to do my research properly. The source I used is clearly not a reliable one.
The point stands, however, that the single biggest suppliers of entertainment, sports and other luxuries in the State are, in fact, Caldari corporations.

I would say there is a difference in importing entertainment where it's a simple affair to cut through the bias and propaganda in the media and the importing of political ideology itself which is far more insidious and dishonest. The patriotism and loyalty of both NOH and CBD and their citizens certainly hasn't been an open question as far as I've seen. |

I shall nitpick here, since this fascinating sport is a more interesting subject than the opening post.
It is true that the Caldari rescued the sport from its early scandals involving drugs, neural boosters, and fixed matches. Most of the children I know learn art, philosophy, mathematics, economics, and history, as well as martial skills and tactics.
Children are mental sponges with an abundance of energy. Why limit what you teach them? When they get older, it's good to have them specialize, yes, but a solid foundation is necessary.

It is good that you teach your children history.
Do you teach them that it was the Gallente people that helped the Caldari reach beyond their homeworld in the first place?
Do you teach them that the Caldari people were one of the founding members of the Federation?
Do you teach them that, against the very charter they helped form, they chose to colonise a large area of space and keep those colonies isolated from any outside aid?
Do you teach them that your current Provist leadership are members of the very same terrorist organisation that your own government deemed kill on sight after the events at Nouvelle Rouvenor?
While i can see the teachings at Ishukone potentially teaching the full historical record, in honour of Mr Gariushi and how he lived. I am almost certain, especially considering some of the more recent capsuleer graduates the state has produced, that most of the megacorps do not teach their children well enough. |

True, though it should be noted that most advancement in the field of space travel and exploration was a product of cooperation between both groups of people after the initial outreach of the Gallente.

Was a direct result of growing animosity and discontent between the Caldari. The political situation at the time consistently denied the Caldari appropriate representation and the policies that were passed constantly reduced our standard of living for the "greater good," of the rest of the Federation. It should also be noted that aid is not what was denied to the outer colonies, the Federation (rightfully) sought to annex them into its jurisdiction upon their discovery, the Caldari refused and seceded from the Federation.

While i was hoping for a response from one of the more CPD oriented pilots on this thread Mal, you have certainly made my point for me.
Your own historical knowledge seems to far surpass most of the Caldari who are more vocal about their genocidal wishes towards the Gallente.
On that last point though, any proof i provide will be seen as biased or forged.
Though perhaps you can find that which i found yourself,
The scope and ISD were there, recording and broadcasting live feeds from the Armour forge on the day Heth's rise began.
Have your technicians look at the feed of Heth's 'heroic' rescue of the wounded member of his entourage, pay particular attention to his arms.
What you will find shocked even me and i have seen a lot of things in this cluster.
I am told, by sources that, for obvious reasons, remain anonymous, that many of the higher ranked Provists, bear remarkably simillar markings.
Call it the ravings of a Gallentean if you will, Though that would be a misnomer.
But, if there is even the chance that what i say is correct, if there is even the slightest possibility that the current leadership of the state are Templis Dragonaur, should that not be checked?
It would certainly explain how these new Provist capsuleers are graduating while showing such sociopathic and genocidal traits.
