So, I gave it some thought... why not, if CCP is got such a hard on for MT to draw new players... Instead of charging the usual 500 mil to 1 bil isk ransom to end a WD, why not start charging Aur?

Our stance on Aur for ransom is, the same as our stance for Isk for ransom.
It is allowed.

Oh new game. The Monocle Game.
Dec a Corp with a Monocle or two and demand the Monocle as Ransom after a while. If they give it to you sell it on the Market and Wardec who ever buys it.
See how many sales you can get before they drop corp and run. Then Ransom them for ISK/Aurum.

Exactly, but the point is to make it so hard for players to use Aurum, t'would kill the necessity of it, no?

I haven't been wardeced once since this thing started. Lots of hate mail and even a few love letters.
But no wardecs.

If you spent half as much time playing as you do *****ing, 1.4b wouldn't be so far out of reach.
