I am Manos Soban and I have my own story to tell.

When I first joined the corporation I had my pilot licence recently renewed and I was full of hopes and dreams. It was a mining operation when everything started and the relationship between me and Chief Dredd would be weaved for ever. Chief Dredd had arranged the operation and I was there early with my mining barge with my friends from the corporation. As the time was closing near more and more alliance members gathered but Chief Dredd was not there. Finally, he arrived thirty minutes late. I conveyed him how the operation was behind schedule to receive the reply æLet me worry about thatÆ. I didnÆt like his tone and the first crevices appeared in our relationship.

During the operation Chief Dredd made clear the mining policy and payment method. I was against it. I created commotion in all alliance channels. The feelings were mixed. There were people who supported Chief Dredd and the status quo and others who supported my new and radical ideas. æThis is how things work hereÆ, he said and his supporters urged me to leave if I donÆt see eye to eye with the rules. So, I dropped fleet. I donÆt know if it was fate or not but few minutes later the system was invaded by Sansha. The seed had been planted. The asteroid belt would be swarmed with Sansha vessels and people started to withdraw from the operation accusing Chief Dredd for his lack of leadership and his æpaper-likeÆ personality. He didnÆt say anything and mining operations stalled, since I had the full support of my corporation members.

Our CEO, however, was sceptical about all those and he resembled of a man he knows something I donÆt know. As the time was going by I climbed the corporation ladder and I gained the trust of my corporation members and founder. All the finances and assets in different offices were under my administration. Now I had a say in alliance matters and I could confront Chief Dredd and pass my own ideas on how to run things and that was going smoothly as my reputation was rising. The gap between me and Chief Dredd had widened dangerously. It was a crossroad in history when I with a bunch of people formed the core of our movement with the same ideas. We were radically and unorthodoxly urging members to move in low security status with promising results. Chief Dredd was against it. He was insisting that we were expanding (The location is classified), not moving. That made us furious and forced us to throw accusations towards the alliance leadership for its lack of activity and willingness to take the next step into the next generation. Threats were exchanged between players in alliance channels. We were accusing these people for stagnation and they returned us for taking things too fast.

An urgent meeting was announced and almost everyone was there. Pilots of all races and professions waiting with awe for the future and what will happen between the two streams of thought. I spoke first as the third in command followed by my buddy, who was the second in command. We were the backbone of the movement and we summarized everything and all aspects. We expressed our ambition, the direction we want the alliance to take and other classified matters. Our CEO didnÆt say anything but his silence had more meaning than our speech. Eventually, he stood by all of us giving us the support we needed. Then it was time for Chooch and Chief Dredd to answer our concerns and announce things never heard before such as the æCapital ProgramÆ, which was the whole idea behind the mining policy and the stationing of capitals in strategic systems. It was the first time I had spoken with Chief Dredd after a long time and I created the image of and old man who used to be a lone Harley driver from Texas with the similar accent.
