I totally agree with you.

That's up to the moderator, it could be a real threat although it's unlikely. So the ban is valid as far as I can see.
Edit: Because he/she was an active anti-protester it would probably make the moderators less forgiving, only natural.

Don't forget that Helicity was part of the process that discovered the new forums were wide open to any kind of phishing/fraud/identity theft possible.
The Day The Forums Died
"I cannot put this in any clearer terms. While CCP may say your user account was never at risk, they completely fail to mention that the computer of everyone that visited their forums most definitely WAS.
The... vulnerability allowed people to insert code into their signatures. Any code they could have wanted. HTML, CSS, even Javascript. This presents a vast multitude of potential vectors in which the computers of persons with inadequate protection could have been compromised... Because anyone with the skill to do so could have altered the page you were looking at provided they had a post in the thread you had on your screen. We KNOW it was possible to insert CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) code into the signatures, this virtcode defines how the page looks. This code could have been used to add, alter or remove almost anything from the page."

Poor helicity really loved EVE so much that no macro hulk could feel safe. Few out of CCP RMTer's operated with impunity while Helicity was on watch and taking care of CCP's back. Helicity was a real example for us all. how long till that statue melts and helicity is avenged, how long?

Somewhere I read that Liang's ban was reduced to a 14 day forum ban. I hope the same happens to Helicity. EVE is just not the same without your Hulkageddons, Helicity, come back! :)

Liang was banned?
This was weirder than I thought.

A few people were banned for increasingly dumb reasons. If CCP really wanted to show they were sorry they'd make a public display of apologizing/unbanning.

The offense imho wasnt enough to promote a band, but i think Felicity was already targetted from CCP for doing hulkageddons which was basically harassing miners and could drive them towards quitting the game and making CCP lose money.
Cant blieve that offense was the real otive to ban her. It was just an excuse for something greater, before that.

No offense but you might want to come back and fix that mess after you've sobered up.

I really hate to agree with Epeen, but yeah. That was a dumb thing to say.
Helicity was banned for delivering Fearless to EN24, and Liang was banned for hosting the full version. It's really as simple as that.
