Well if you get to buy a full ship directly it's not just a vanity item anymore, but also a game affecting item and an infinite mineral faucet for RL monies. So it has to be, that you just buy the skin, which in practice might mean you trade in a vanilla ship for a skinned ship.

Or as a process when assembling the ship you choose the pink paintjob. Or the quafe lady decal.

CCP has said in a devblog not too long ago that ships available from NeX would be done via a trade-up or Blueprint type system, so that it does not spawn "ships out of thin air".

Lol. You know every time I see a post like the above quote I think of either a dejected little 8 year old or a dumb as a stump New York Italian mechanic stereotype. Learn to make an educated statement or gtfo.
Anywho, it will be the paint job. i.e. skin. They have already shown this new feature. I just didn't think it would be a NEX item. Sucks. I'd still like CCP to ad something like tailoring to the game and let the players make this stuff from BPCs.
