Yeah thats right, everyone loves the old poor mans DD or disco ships for the laughs. But why has no ship ever had a bonus for it? seriously CCP, wheres the fun!
Can we not have a cheapish, semi-disposable suicide ship... maybe not the same as dive bombing planes wired with explosives, but a more fun disco takedown vessel.
Fit them out with a racial resists and damage to their smartbomb flavour, capacitor bonus and maybe a rate of fire bonus?
Typical Idea: Destroyer: 15% to smartbomb capacitor usage and 20% to smartbomb range per level
New T2 skillbook: 10% to armor EM resistances and 5% to EM smartbomb damage per level
Role Bonus: -25% to duration of smartbomb
These cud be used for lol gangs, also for clearing out drones or fighters maybe...
Like the stealth bomber concept, fragile but high damage. used in the right way lethal, in wrong way u lost a load of isk.
What do you all think?

I'm confused your skillbook idea is both offense and defense... let alone why did resists get brought up?

Maybe... Fleets of the smartbomb destroyers would all be in range of each other, so it'd be best to fit the one type of smartbomb to minimise damaging each other. The resists probably aid in this.

doesn't game has already cheap ships used for suiciding?
I would imagine other "more special" roles for your idea: 1. BS class ship which can suicidekill carrier 2. carrier class ship which can suicidekill super. 3. suicidekill ship for range - let's say one big bomb with engines. Not cheap however. We don't want to make mining in empire more ****y as it is already. 
Ideas 1 and 2 would give new breath to 0.0 sov blob-wars. Idea 3 would make gate camping in low-sec more funny. Let's say: frighter with good billion ISKies onboard is traveling around low-sec. With 1 scout on front and 1-2 suicidekillers on backup.
