Never in history things went this bad for EVE as in the last weeks.
Never before it was seen the player base so united in a protest that, after all, involved all types players (miners, merchants, PVPers, etc) all across EVE (Jita, Amarr, Lumiaire, Rens, etc).
The CSM was emergency summoned, decisions and statements were made, stating that "there are no plans to introduce P2W items via NeX store now or in the future". But even now some of us still are suspicious, not yet really convinced about your intentions, CCP.
Thus i propose the following.
Every major event in EVE is somehow "celebrated" by some type of in game "reminder".
Why not, in the next patch, put a new statue in EVE?
"CCP MT PACTUM" (pact in Latin) Statue (or another form of monument)
(show info):
After several leaked documents from CCP, stating that P2W items were planed for EVE, a massive player protest erupted all across the EVE universe. Several thousand players united with a unique propose: Make sure that P2W items were never introduced in EVE.
On the 3rd day of July of the year 2011, CCP and CSM agreed, that CCP will never introduce P2W items in EVE.
This statue symbolizes CCP's commitment upon that, to all EVE players and to the game itself.

They should just take the head off of the existing monument. There were people shooting at it for about 4 solid days after all.

tldr, but i concur that there should be a monument as a constant reminder that an overwhelming majority of players dont want gold ammo and the such
after all, if it werent for the monument at jita 4-4 now who the **** would remember a couple guys won a trivia contest or some ****?

Well I for one like the idea.
I propose the monument in Jita be replaced with a one that is broken, scorched and smoldering....
There was an Idea that was Eve: whatever you possess, you gained on merit, however worthy or nefarious. Not because you had access to DaddyÆs credit card.....

I propose that the OP be nailed to a plinth and placed outside Jita 4-4 as a constant reminder that idiocy has a price and stupidity will get you killed.
