I agree 99.6% with OP. The other 0.4% goes to hoping that a certain part of the community stops bashing CCP at every opportunity, and just play the game they apparently "love enough to throw in the garbage."
I hope they're not bitter enough to leave forever, but they have to understand that they've been heard already. Persistence may not be the answer, any longer. We the optimistic, know that you butt-hurt. We the optimistic, agree on some/most of the points you the pessimistic, brought up, and CCP the company, took the time(OUT of a busy schedule) to address some of the most talked about issues, in a fair and timely manner, considering they had so much work to do during the first week after release of this PHASE of the expansion.
If I went to your house a few times a year and brought you a case of your favorite beer, and you made me dinner, and I never told you that it has this awful taste, because I wanted to be polite. Years later, you still making me the same dinner, and I tell you that it's ****ing disgusting, and that you don't deserve the beer anymore, I pack it up and leave. Would you make me dinner again? I doubt it.
But to your surprise, CCP's door is still open, whereby it's possible that in the future, your "beloved" game is looking sharper at every angle, AND functions even more perfectly than it did from 2003-2011. The sandbox just might be so full of new toys, that the old toys can get lost in the background. I have faith that this back burner may glow red again some day. I support CCP, because my tiny contribution helps unfold their vision.
Those that chose to unsub are needlessly ungrateful. I can't wait to reach the silence that ensues from your knee-jerk reactions. This, so that the more optimistic people on the forums can encourage the growth of the game and get CCP to appreciate our feedback, rather than ignore it.
Those that were(are) expecting a full expansion after CCP repeatedly told us that all their content will now phased to be released in smaller, more complete segments, rather than large unfixable blobs clearly misunderstood CCP's intended direction. I hope that you all are happy to be a nuisance, while your sub lasts, and ironically, welcome back, when you're over it. When you do come back, make sure you leave your bitterness behind and come prepared with a hug and an apology. |

If you want your message (whatever it is, I couldn't be bothered to make it readable) to be heard, you need to make it accessible. Your maroon text is illegible, which makes your message inaccessible, so you fail at posting.

Oh, you must be one of those new guys...
So you think people should be blindly loyal? A lot of people have been loyal to eve from the start, only to leave because of the continuing slaps in the face from CCP.
You talk about faithfulness to the community, people ARE faithful to the community. There are countless sites and apps out there dedicated to services and functions that CCP have FAILED to implement, and what do they get for their trouble? A bill for $99.
Yeah, thats loyalty for you.

Did you know that people with optimistic view are more likely to be scammed and die younger? |

Loyalty!
That my friends is what separates the men from the rest of the rabble. Faithfulness to the community and to the idea that is EVE-Online. It is about not abandoning your friends because times get a little tough.
I refuse to just watch as those less worthy of this game jump ship and think it is OK to come back when the choppy waters have passed. These are not the players our spaceship game needs. We need real people with real values. I want to be surrounded by those who think and believe like that. In many ways, this game has changed my life for the better. I have never lost faith in you CCP. You will always have by far the best community any gaming company could ever hope for. I will always be loyal to you and the idea that is CCP and EVE-Online. Do not allow those who jump ship be welcomed back. We do not need, or want them to taint this game again.
Much respect! 07 -Better Than You

Posting in a TROLL thread.
OP, how can you be better than me, ffs...
CCP has been betraying player loyalty for nigh on two (2) years.
Look at CCP directors.... most would betray their mothers for a profit and are adapt at manipulating people like you.
Now extract your head from your waste outlet, grow up and posting in red just makes you look like an attention *****.

And one day I am sure I will return. The "I was there" vid is about inspiration and was well done. It isn't EVE gameplay though
I'm not hating. I just lost my spark. It isn't fun anymore so I play Robots. Hope to see you all in space, some day again.
